I’m very disappointed with my recent experience at the Sam’s Club Café. I had placed an order for five pepperoni pizzas a full day in advance (11/8/2025) for 3:00 p.m., to serve at my daughter’s first birthday party. Unfortunately, when I arrived the following day (11/9/2025) to pick up the order, I was told that it had never been made.
Because of this mistake, I ended up missing an entire hour of my daughter’s special day while waiting for the pizzas to be prepared. To make matters worse, when the pizzas were finally done, they were not cut the way I had requested—despite that specific instruction being clearly written on the order slip.
What stood out most to me was the attitude of the staff. While one employee, Sean, was professional, helpful, and clearly doing his best to fix the situation quickly, the rest of the team showed a serious lack of care. Instead of assisting, they laughed about the situation and even said, “Oops,” as if it wasn’t a big deal. That kind of response is unacceptable, especially when customers plan ahead and depend on your service for important occasions.
I want to sincerely thank Sean for his effort and professionalism—he was the only reason I stayed calm and got my order at all. However, the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better communication, accountability, and respect for customers in the future.
