Looks like Schlotzsky’s has joined the other bad food restaurants in Kerrville. There was a time when you could get a good sandwich but now they have changed. The bread is so thin and dry like it was left in the broiler like toast. Edges too hard to eat and very thin. I ordered the deluxe original and it had less on it than the basic. I’m not sure where they got what they call soup but it was like some kind of condensed garbage. The blasting music just iced the cake. Too bad, we wont be back.

Delicious pit stop for us! Clean and modern layout. We shared a medium sized turkey bacon club with chips and it was perfect! They have fresh Cinnabon which is an added bonus! Pat served us at the counter and she was delightful. Highly recommend!

I haven’t been to Schlotzky’s in a long time because we don’t have one near us. I stopped at Kerrville location. Some of the best soup I ever had. And the sandwiches were fresh, packed with meat and very tasty.

I spent several minutes reviewing the menu and knew exactly what I wanted when I walked in. When I ordered my sandwich the response was “nope”. I said you don’t have this sandwich? and the response was “not’ny more”. So I ordered an alternative. Then I asked for the soup I had decided on and was told that that also was no longer an option. I walked out and decided to eat somewhere else.

The instant we walked in the door we were eagerly & cheerfully greeted by Erika, who also took our order and offered suggestions when we couldn’t decide. Our giant Green Goddess sandwich was brought out by a hospitable male employee, who also wished us a good evening from the kitchen as we were exiting the restaurant. Sandwich tasted great & fresh.
It’s hard to find great employees now & days. Erika & the kitchen staff deserve a raise for their great service & continuously working when no one is watching. ☺️
