Started off with veggie Samosas and they were 9/10! I usually always eat meat so the concept of a dish “missing” it is foreign to me. The puff pastry itself was SO good. Flakey, buttery and had a nice crisp mouth feel to it. In addition, the stuffing was flavorful and delicious. Will go back to try the ones with chicken inside…
The chili momos were good, but compared to the pictures I’ve seen online, it was underwhelming. Highlight was the sauce they were tossed in. It was sweet and flavorful. Felt like the spice was going to come in and make me sweat but never did. Overall not bad, but do not care for them. 7.5/10
Butter chicken was divine. Enjoyed every bite and couldn’t stop eating it. Whether it was with their delicious garlic naan or with the plain basmati rice, I kept eating it. Creamy, flavorful and delicious. Chicken was tender and cooked just right. 10/10
***don’t have anything to compare it to so 10/10***
Goat curry was… well… GOATED. Fall off the bone meat, hearty, mild spice to it and overall scrumptious. Like the butter chicken, I kept dipping naan in it. 9/10
Overall enjoyed my experience here and will be coming back to try other dishes like biryani and aloo gobi!!
You will never know unless you try .
I will try Tandoori Flame again!!!
We had Amritsari Fish Fry, Achari Chicken as starters.. amazing and highly recommended. Quantity was also very generous for a table of 4. Garlic Naan and Bullet Naan were made to perfection. For the mains we ordered Butter Chicken which was again how we get it in Punjab. We also ordered Daal Makhni- another classic.
Overall a very good experience. We will be back for more on their menu for next time. Owners told us that they launching Amritsari Kulcha with homemade butter on top- something anyone who has ever been to Punjab will relate to. Looking forward to that for sure.
Is this a scam or a new trend?. We catered from this place today ordering the same stuff we ordered few months ago, we were shocked that we paid the same price for half the amount for the food (shallow tray). This is very wrong and clearly dishonest. Never seen large but thinner trays to reduce the amount of food. Instead they should tell people we doubled our prices, but not have people shocked when they pick up the food realizing they don’t have enough for the people. We had to order pizza when we opened the trays at home. We called and they said these are the shallow trays. The regular trays are more expensive.
