Our Riverside location opened Fall of 2018 and introduces a whole new Indaba experience!
We were first introduced to this building in 2016-2017 and it took two years to develop what we believe is one of the best cafe experiences you can get!
Interior design, check. Coffee, on point. Food, chef driven. Beer, wine, co-working space, and so much more! You have to visit multiple times to experience it all.
This location is THE place to meet downtown. Close to Riverfront Park yet far enough away to find parking. Plenty of seating and a space that you won’t want to leave. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do, cheers!
Community coffee shop roasting its own beans and serving light fare in hip, industrial-style digs.

Delightful espresso cafe & hybrid work center – worth the trip!
Indabo is a wonderful and airy cafe space with lots of seating. Perfect for meeting friends or teleworking. They could invest in comfortable seating however.
Their biggest flex – for me – was their high end Slayer espresso machine. As expected, the espresso was quite smooth.
They offer quite a range of coffee beans as well – including an organic from Mexico.
We primarily stopped because of the delicious Avocado toast and we were not disappointed. You must try them out.

If you love good coffee, you’ll love Indaba!!!!
Their coffee is consistently excellent, made with care, and always hits the spot. The atmosphere is calm and inviting, and it’s a great place to hang out or get work done.
Easily one of my go-to coffee shops in Spokane. Highly recommend!

I love exploring local cafe wherever I go and this one was so unique; design, staff, and the variety of sweets they had. Plus, they have a conference room at the end of cafe which is so special. I wish we had such a place in our own city. The interior design is modern, it reminds me of the famous quote “less is more.” And here the design is such. You’ll enjoy sitting in this friendly rustic environment and sipping your cup of coffee. I’m sure it will be a special experience for you as it was for us.

The staff were very accommodating – very clear with helping you clarify the food and coffee options. The coffee is nice – they have a unique flavor – butterscotch latte. The best one is the vibe – it is a nice relaxing hang out place in the middle of downtown Spokane. Don’t miss this one when visiting.

I’ve been to a lot of cafes in various cities. This takes the lead on all fronts. The Americano was perfection. The breakfast bagel was out of this world (mine was the cheese bagel with added bacon and avocado). The atmosphere was iconic- vintage building with modern finishes.
Bring a location in Portland please?

I used to go to indaba multiple times a week in college, and absolutely destroyed my bank account here. However, in the past two years things have gone super downhill here. Drinks and food have gotten insanely expensive and aren’t of high enough quality to merit that price. For example, this bagel that didn’t even have enough cream cheese to cover both sides completely and was probably a grocery store bagel. And it cost $6.70! Like that’s actually insane. And it was $9 for a large iced matcha with whole milk. It’s super disappointing because indaba really tries to market themselves as somewhere who cares about the community, but it seems the only thing they are really interested in is fleecing their patrons. I feel like this coffee shop has really devolved into a shell of what it once was. Honestly, your money would be better spent supporting a different small business.

What a great place to work remotely for a few hours, study, or just have some alone time to read. I needed a place to work for most of the day since my hotel check in time was at 3pm and I flew into Spokane in the morning. I ended up here and there was a great amount of space in the back to plug in my laptop and really hunker down. The spaces in the back are well used with students and remote workers alike. They also have rentable meeting rooms and great WiFi as well!
Through the day I ordered a few coffees, Italian sodas and some breakfast. Their drip coffee is flavorful and aromatic. The Italian soda I ordered, I had the option of getting alternative milk (so I got coconut), and my arugula and egg bagel breakfast sandwich was delicious!
Highly recommend, and will be coming here again in the future.

I really wanted to like this place after hearing so many locals recommend it, so I was pretty excited to try it. Unfortunately, it just didn’t live up to the hype for me.
The coffee I ordered mostly tasted like milk, and I’m honestly not hard to please when it comes to coffee. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy just something balanced and well made. For the price, it felt more like expensive coffee and treats without the quality or polish to match.
Not a terrible experience, just underwhelming compared to the recommendations. I might give it another shot down the line, but this visit didn’t quite hit the mark.

WOW I loved walking into this gem of a shop! Shout out to LEVITA who made me the best coffee I’ve had in ages- her butterscotch latte with black salt- out of this world!! The energy infused in the food and drinks goes a long way. Much appreciation
