We went to the restaurant during restaurant week and we ordered from a limited menu. The lamb was well done. It tasted good, not sure I have had lamb before. The braised beef was really good. The gravy had a lot of flavor and the meat fell apart. The pasta was homemade and tasted great. The carrot cake was ok, tasted more like spice cake. It was nice and moist. The pot de creme was very flavorful. The prices are on a higher end here. The quality is pretty good and matches the cost. The atmosphere is pretty nice. Tables are a little close, but not bad. This is a good special occasion restaurant. They have a huge selection at the bar. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The place was clean. They have banquet rooms that can be separated.

Went for the first time to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary. Everyone was welcoming and they treated us great. The food is very good – position sizes are huge. Our waitress was very friendly as was the host and the manager. It was a great experience and we will absolutely go back again for our next special occasion. The piano player was a nice experience too.

Lovely restaurant! We got the chicken liver pate and the Thanksgiving stuffed turkey. The portions were huge! And the flavors were a good combination. It’s a nice and cozy place to grab dinner if you’re in the area.

One of my favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to. I’m not exaggerating; I’ve had a lot of fillet minot and theirs was the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. We went for our first honeymoon dinner celebration and they went out of their way to make it feel extra special. The staff is so friendly and professional. Truly a fine-dining experience. Great food and great people.

Historic restaurant with amazing food and vibe. Awesome music from the piano bar. Very crowded. Make your reservations early. The staff is supremely attentive, friendly and efficient. Fabulous service. The wine was amazing! The poached lobster was astounding! The filet mignon was incredibly tender. They have the best 20 year port. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again soon.

My wife and I dined at The Wishing Well on Saturday. Food was excellent as was the service. It was very crowded since it was Valentine’s Day, but we had a nice table by the window and enjoyed their specialty drinks while we dined on braised short ribs and the chicken cutlet. Everything about this adorable restaurant is wonderful. It’s decorated beautifully for the holiday season. My only complaint was that I ordered my filet mignon medium/well and it came out extremely well done. That’s the only reason for the 4 star rating on the food. It certainly wouldn’t stop me from going back. Next time, I order it medium!

We had an absolutely delicious perfect meal, the halibut special was the best halibut I have ever had. My husband’s diver scallops were huge and also cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the seafood tower for two, all delicious. Service was there but we had an older gentleman waiter who seemed annoyed about waiting on us instead of ensuring we were having a good experience. He didn’t check on our food and delayed attending to drinks. My husband is handicap and we had a difficult time getting him up the stairs and into the restaurant. The high quality of the food makes those things easy to forget about. Excellent kitchen.
