The Hunter
This review is specifically for their new sous vide WAGYU burger (yes it has come to this). I haven’t been to Arby’s in a couple of years (not that there is anything wrong with it/just not convenient to where I live). But I am out waiting on a family member at an appointment and up pops a news feed that tells me that Arby’s has an item they have never offered and it is available starting today for a limited time. So me being the grubber that I am had to click on the click bait. Turns out it is a burger. Big deal….but I keep reading and it is a Japanese Wagyu burger prepared sous vide. For those wondering I will encourage you to research now. I have friends that swear by it and say burgers and steaks are never quite the same once you go sous vide. At that exact moment I find myself near an Arby’s so I dive in to the drive thru line.
The good: this is a hefty burger and thick and pink on the inside (the way a good burger should be in my humble opinion). Bun is nice. Toppings (shredded lettuce, tomato, slivers of red onion and pickles) are decent.
The bad: This burger was COLD. We both got one and pulled straight to the adjoining parking lot so we ate within one minute of being given the bag.
The meat itself is fantastic. This is a quality patty. Big, thick and rounded. Like a burger at home. The sauce could be thicker so this thiness makes for one messy burger and there were no napkins in the bag! They asked if we wanted sauces which I declined but napkins should be a given on every drive thru order?!?!?!
So in review….. kudos to Arby’s for trying something new and trying a cooking style way, way, way outside the fast food realm. But the presentation/delivery was not there. But for this price point I will not be trying this again. Today was the first day for this new offering so maybe it’s a learning curve. If said burger had been hot I truly think it would’ve been mind-blowing (for a fast food burger).
The Jamocha shake my dining partner got was OUTSTANDING!!!

Customer service was wonderful! Food came out quickly, was both hot and delicious. Thanks for a great lunch

Arby’s is pretty good for a fast food chain. We actually get either the Crispy Chicken combo or the burger. Both are very good. I have gotten the turkey sandwich (club?) in the past. Loved it and it’s pretty big, at least for me. Fries always good. The turnovers are stone cold though. For that reason, I don’t get them now. But if you ask, they will likely heat them for you. They seem to cook as ordered, so our food has always been hot. But then it’s always very late evening when we go. The folks there are always courteous and the food comes out in a timely manner.

Interior was very very dirty. Floor around the dining area was covered in dirt / debris / food remnants. As well as the kitchen floor visible from the customer counter.

I arrived around 545 in the afternoon and for some reason the door was locked. No sign put up, but there were still a couple people sitting inside eating. I wanted to sit down and eat in and not have to eat in my car, so I don’t know what the issue is there. Maybe lazy employees? Short staff? I ordered online carry out so I had to jump back in my car and wait in the slow drive thru line. After I was in the drive through line a few minutes, I noticed them putting up a lobby closed sign. That should’ve been done when the door was initially locked.
Food is just regular nothing outstanding. Can’t really comment on atmosphere since the door was locked so, it’s only get 2 stars for that. Oh and they didn’t give me fries with my meal! I was already upset enough but then I open my bag to grab a fry and nothing but my sandwich. How do you forget to put fries in the bag?

Thanks to Ricky Carson the service was good and so was the food even though I ordered a double beef and chadder and I got a single. The sandwich is nothing I’m not worried about that I like the way this young man carries himself and how he handle business when it comes to customer service. I believe he deserves a higher position and a promotion for the excellence service. He has the mentality of a manger and role of a leader in my book me and my cousin would love to see him in a better position as a fine young man.

I ordered $27 worth of food and what I got was barely palatable. The mozzarella cheese sticks were falling apart, the regular roast beef sandwich I got had a lot of fat in it. I realize a lot of people like fat, I am not one of those people. I like actual roast beef and not fat. Selling a sandwich for $5 with fat is not the way to keep customers coming back. I can’t finish my meal because the fat makes me nauseous. Thank you Arby’s! You ruined my appetite for your food!

Tried the Angus Cheese steak, don’t bother, a microwaved tray of slimy good with a disgusting flavor & texture. I had 3 bits of non chewable something. I will NOT be going back to Arby’s anytime soon.

The gentleman managing the store is doing a great job. Good service and the cleanest fast food spot I’ve been to in recent memory. Four stars because the shake machine was broken and I was hoping for a chocolate shake.

Everybody working was pleasant. Two young men waited on me and took care of my order. I also asked them to make sure that my stuff was hot, especially the fries and potato cakes because I was going a little bit of a distance. They did make sure and even made sure my bag was sealed up nice and neat. I wish I knew their names to give them proper credit, but they were quite friendly and not your stereotypical teenage fast food workers. I was quite impressed. I felt very respected and like I mattered as a customer. I got my order to go, but from what I saw everything looked pretty clean.
