Townline Pizzeria & Seafood / Harrison’s Roast Beef in North Andover is a joy to behold. They’re back! My first visits here were in the late 80s shortly after they first opened in 1984 as Harrison’s Roast Beef. I’ve always loved it here and have considered their outstanding Roast Beef sandwiches the standard bearer of all Roast “Beast” sandwiches. Then, not too long ago they closed and another restaurant opened up here instead. I’m super stoked to now know of their return, this time with the addition of pizza and seafood offerings. It’s almost as if they never left. Their Super Beef is as great as ever, albeit at a cost of $15.60 each now. The interior has undergone renovation and looks much nicer, and now has a large screen TV. Service is very friendly. Come on in and order your Roast Beef with cheese and sauce. Highly recommended.

Stopped into The Town Line in North Andover — also known as Harrison’s — the original home of the legendary Harrison’s Roast Beef. I grabbed a Super Beef three-way, plus a pizza roll and fries. The beef itself was excellent: tender, flavorful, and exactly what you expect from a true North Shore classic.
My only knock was the amount of sauce. It was a little heavier than I prefer and ended up all over the place, which held the score back from the low 8s. With a lighter hand on the sauce, this would have been a top-tier beef.
Overall, a very solid 7.8–7.9 experience. Great to see the original Harrison’s location still delivering quality roast beef.

As I was riding by I took a picture. In reality that’s all I have to do. Really I don’t even have to do that. I happen to be in the area and I like to help the locals out as much as I can. Without feeling I have to. From the looks of this pizza place. I would chance walking though the doors and expect nothing but the best. A peek in the window told me the rest. Townline Pizza has it going on. Great looking place. Gotta love it.

Roast beef sandwiches are almost as good as they were before the reopening. Compared to before – prices jumped a lot. Clean atmosphere and friendly staff. Roast beef was cold in the middle unfortunately but still a good sandwich.

The food, service were good; and the young lady behind the counter was great. but, when we went to sit down to enjoy our meal we couldn’t hear each other over the TVs in the dining room. Incredibly obnoxious how loud they have it.

Townline rocks, I found it was 3 minutes away from my place so it became my go-to, and also, they are the only pizza place I know with a fast carry out time on a Friday. They also make me feel like a valued customer, they know my name when I come in.
Super humble place, wonderful food, great variety.

Great place for roast beef sandwiches with a spicy sauce or without the sauce any way you like it. The usual French fries and other fare such as pastrami sandwiches. Fast service & you can call ahead.

I went with a friend and we ordered the Jr. Roast beef and we shared some fries and drinks. They made it quick and delivered it to us. They made it the way we wanted it. It was so good that I had to bring a Super roast beef on an onion roll for my husband with the house sauce. Just be very specific. I didn’t realize it came with mayo and sauce and my husband is not a mayo person. Luckily they put lots of sauce.

You have to try this place! My first time I ordered a steak and cheese sub and the bread was so fresh it was awesome and I really enjoyed it.

When we lived in Andover Harrisons beef was our go to. Happy to see it’s back after brief closing and quality of the beef is absolutely the same, great flavor, no fat. The roll though, fresh, soft, grilled roll all part of best roast beef sandwich, and I have to say, the roll absolutely sucked-terrible roll
