Yum! Was in town on a trip and was craving Chinese. This was right down the road from my hotel so gave it a try.
Food was hot and very tasty. I got the dinner combo: sweet and sour chicken with shrimp fried rice and an egg roll. Prices were really good too!

The food is decent but the Asian lady behind the counter that picks up the phone and hands out orders is very rude… and only rude to certain ppl( iykyk) I’ll find rude service and mediocre food closer to home

I have been coming to China Moon for years, and it’s probably my favorite Chinese restaurant in the Nola area. For takeout and dine-in, I just love this place. Today for lunch I had takeout: Mandarin chicken with shrimp fried rice and eggs roll, shrimp toast, and crab Rangoon. I’m a crab Rangoon fanatic, and these are by far some of my favorites I’ve ever tried. Service is always warm and friendly, and very fast.
5/13/2024 – still my favorite Chinese food anywhere. I’ve never had bad food from here, and the woman behind the counter is always incredibly friendly. I think people saying she is rude are giving her an attitude first honestly, or don’t actually know what “rude” is.

This is my FAVORITE place to eat! I eat here atleast once a week sometimes more! I love the food n my waitress Jess is always awesome! Shes friendly, makes sure I’m ok at all times and is a pleasure! If u go there request Jess as your waitress (u will THANK ME) Also, I love that they play Christian music! Me n my mom have been coming here since it opened! My mom has since passed so now I take my 10yr old n we make it a date every Saturday!!!! They literally know what we want when we walk in the door! No need for menus lol!!!!

I called in & placed an order for pickup to save time. Upon getting there I am told to wait as the food will “soon be ready” & i basically had to wait for 10 mins as the food was prepared & wasn’t already made. Giving them a three star because the food was cool BUT THE LADY HAD A ATTITUDE WHEN I TOLD HER MY SHRIMP WAS TOO HARD‼️. She tells me it don’t look to hard for her….. well you eat it then hoe‼️. I paid $17 for my food to be right. The price is fine cause seafood is pretty pricey but she have a attitude because I want my food done right? That’s preposterous!. I’m a businesswoman myself and attitude is 85 percent of your customer service. Then when I asked for more sauce I got more attitude! So would I return in the future? Probably not , but if I do and her attitude is bad I’ll ask for my funds back and leave! I’m a paying customer, she’s lucky I was hungry and majority of things are closed cause I would’ve taken my money back and my business elsewhere. She too ugly to act so ugly fix your attitude ma’am !

I have always gone to Chinese kitchen for great food but it seems that the food has gone way down in taste. I came across this place and I was impressed. The food stay hot from the time she brought it to me until I finished eating. The place is really clean and Salena was fantastic. Yes I will be going back.
