I haven’t been in the island in over 18 years and I missed the real Latin comfort food. Every time that I want to feel closer to home I go to this place. They are my go to place, especially for their delicious Tripe Soup (Mondongo), it is second to none. Delicious and affordable. You can’t beat that.

A great little bodega that has take out food. And, let me tell you – this prepared food is seriously delicious. Authentic Spanish flavor that I will say is hard pressed to find easily in Rochester.
The service is great, a small yet quaint and local feel. They aren’t fancy but they bring that island family love to the business. I truly appreciate that more than I can express here.
If you need need milk, eggs, bread you know the basics they got it, and if you are hungry for prepared food, just do yourself a favor and experience the flavor!

I went there for the first time with a friend and oh my gosh I had to go back. The food was hot and fresh tasting. It was so good. The portion size is worth the money. I love it. Meat so tender and juicy. Nothing was dry. I had got the pull pork with yellow rice and beans. Can’t forget them onions. Yummy. Second time I had the roasted chicken..so darn good. Go if you can. I will return again. The older guy there severing the food…the mostly friendly person I ever met in the city of Rochester. Felt like family.
