Absolutely awful, the meats weren’t fresh, wrapped all soggy and an Italian sub served on a hot dog bun really? That’s not a sandwich if the top is completely open and we only have half the bread that we’re supposed to. If I wanted that I’d order a pizza.

The pizzas were super gross, the cheddar on my sons pizza was almost burnt, my pizza with the buffalo sauce and grilled chicken had random places where there would be a glob of buffalo sauce or non at all, the chicken did not taste fresh at all, my other sons meatball sub was super soggy. I’ll stick with Fairfield House of Pizza. This is the first time I’ve ever tried your place and it’ll be the last time.

We ordered online 1 day ahead. We were traveling from southern Maine to Bangor. Nouria’s Kitchen-Amato’s Waterville was the closest Amato’s to Bangor. We ordered eight large sandwiches, 3 pizza, 2 poppers, 1 pazzo and 1 salad for 16 people. It all was ready as ordered. The quality, taste and looks of every item was the same as if I got it from the home office in Portland. We love Amato’s.

We general have a good sandwich at Amato’s in WATERVILLE, Maine as we have before. But today we both got sandwich orders that were NOT CORRECT. By the time we got home in Augusta it was too late to do anything.
We ordered 1 Large Ham Italian with salt n pepper, and Oil on the side with NO OLIVES & GREEN PEPPERS (my order was done from the beginning we had to ask for Oil when rest of order was complete & after driving home 15/20 minutes; I unrolled my sandwich it was grossly covered with black olives , if you don’t like them, you don’t like the taste of them, it lingers on them, even after olives are removed.. THEN MY HUSBAND’S ORDER of Cheese Pazzo (that is Fresh baked dough seasoned with garlic, cheeses with dipping sauce) & REQUESTED Extra Cheese. He put his Large Steak n Cheese with Mayo in the refrigator to eat his Extra Cheese – Cheese Pazzo and DID NOT RECEIVE WHAT IS DESCRIBED ON YOUR MENU AS STATED above in ().
What he got was sadly a Personal Size Cheese Pizza) HERE WAS NO EXTRA CHEESE, NO FRESH BAKED DOUGH SEASONED WITH GARLIC & NO DIPPING SAUCE – being very hungry he ate the personal size pizza ith NO X cheese and he didn’t he the crust and unwraps the foil and his Steak n cheese is covered with Green Peppers.
WE will never order from atleast this Amatos again and need to remove the Cheese Paazo description on menus because it’s FALSE ADVERTISING and we paid for 3 items for dinner that were not prepared properly….NOT VERY FAIR WITH PRICES INCREASING AND WANT CONSUMERS TO BE UNDERSTANDING OF INCREASES AND SHORTNESS OF STAFF. Lost our business, we will never go there again.

I ordered an Italian w x pickle that was never added. Also, I thought the guy who made it was squeezing the sandwich as he wrapped it. Sure enough, when I opened the sandwich, he’d squeezed it so hard all the tomatoes were mush along with the olives and all those juices made the roll incredibly wet and disgusting. Never let the big guy who looks like he’s not bathed or changed his shirt in a month fix your order. YUCK

Before ordering from here unless you want a food Bourne Ilness I would strongly think twice I ordered 2 pizzas from this location along with an Italian sub that was an absolute disgrace, hours later my family developed signs of salmonella and have been up most of the night sick, this location should not be allowed to serve food after seeing the reviews about not being the only one that has been sick from there, honestly do yourself a favor and drive either to the grocery story down the road and don’t stop at this location unless you want to be sick from the food

I have discovered that customer care is not a priority but getting customers out is. Last time I went in I ordered: ham/cheese/pickle/tomato extra pickle/tomato, she did not hear me correctly and charged me for a regular Italian with extra veggies. I told her it was incorrect so she simply dumped out the other veggies and handed it to me and would not change the code to the correct sandwich. So now I paid extra and could only eat half because it still had onions attached to the ham. Today I ordered the same sandwich. They used the wrong code so again I paid extra and when I told the lady she shrugged her shoulders with the “well you already paid” I had 2 very thin tomatoes on each side, no salt/pepper or oil. I think from now on if I want something I actually want to eat and pay only what I should, apparently I have to make it myself. Customer service should be first not last, being busy is not a valid reason to be dismissive.
