Ordered the assorted cookie bars and assorted petite desserts. Got them to honor my mother’s sweet tooth at her funeral and they were a hit! The petite desserts were quite small but perfect for this type of thing and the 3×3 cookie bars made up for the size haha. Only heard compliments from guests about the sweets. Thank you!

Bought a cake and 3 specialty croissants. Let me just tell you the cross aunts are huge and so delicious. My favorites are almond pistachio. I live in the west valley and I would make the drive over there. Looking forward to the cake.

The Dubai Mousse was amazing! In my peanut butter loving opinion, it was better than the Peanut Butter Mousse. But to be fair I’m not comparing apples to apples. I was searching for a place that reminded me of Pastiche in Providence. This place hit that spot! Don’t change a thing Honeymoon Sweets!

I can’t believe I hadn’t been here before! I was welcomed by wonderful staff and offered a tour of the facility. Everyone focused, friendly, welcoming, and I could tell they enjoy what they do. They were easy to talk to and shared a little bit of what they were working on.
The glass display caught my eye upon entry. They have an assortment of desserts. These are small and can be for one person or shared if you’re feeling generous. One caught my eye: Tres Leches Cake. It’s a smooth, delicate, white dome filled with soft cake layers and the most exquisite cream. I was amazed that the cake was wonderfully soaked with the tres leches mix and kept its shape and moist texture. Was not soggy at all and absolutely delicious! I shared with a friend. Not because I couldn’t devour it, but exactly because I COULD! Not only did I take the Tres Leches dessert with me but a pistachio cannoli, Creme Brulee tart, and Dubai Chocolate dessert.
A few months ago, I was gifted a vanilla cake from here. It was a heart-shaped cake filled with Bavarian Creme and strawberry filling, covered with Italian Butter Cream. It was a great balance of creme, cake, and sweetness. The Italian Buttercream (unlike American buttercream) wasn’t heavy. The decoration was hand-piped and gave vintage feels. This combination will be hard to beat for future birthday cakes.
While talking to their staff, they mentioned they are working through renovation, and have some surprises stored. Can’t wait to eat (a breakfast croissants) with a matcha while I set up my workstation.

We arrived 10:33 and no other customers were there. The atmosphere is cold and not welcoming. We felt like we were being stared down as we made our choices. The young woman who was grabbing our order from the case was extremely rude. There is no friendly or welcoming vibe. We didn’t feel welcome and will probably never be back. Unfortunately the treats were amazing but the sour attitude of the two young ladies working in the front is not worth a return trip. A little customer service goes a long way. There are other bakeries in the Phoenix market that deserve your patronage than this one.

I have been a loyal customer at honeymoon sweets for years, I liked buying the petite sweets, I think a dozen use to cost in the 30$ range and I thought it was expensive but they looked pretty, super sweet but pretty, I think it’s been over a year that I been back, today I went and 12 bite size pastry cost a total of $47.56, and when i say bite size i mean tiny. I think the price went up to basically $4 per bite size and the pastry portions has become tiny. I was in Paris France this past October and I indulge in the cuisine and I took pictures of pastries and was saying how you can taste the vanilla the lemon the flavors are so delicate and not like a spoonfull of sugar like in the states, the 4” pastries cost 4.50 euros and the bite size pastries cost like 1.50€, this is in Paris an expensive city, in a bakery in the 16th arrondissement ( if you know you know the 16) not in tempe Arizona on southern, very disappointing in the crazy prices, won’t be returning, I did go to a French bakery off of southern and Dobson not to long ago in front of MCC and it was delicious and a little pricey but it made sense . Not to mention that the cashier was trying to put 10 tiny pastries in the XL box but charging me for 12, when i told her I ordered 12, she put 1 more, I had to tell her it was 11 and i had ordered one dozen so then she added the 12th piece in

Honeymoon Sweets European Bakery is hands down the BEST bakery in the Valley! Every cake I’ve ordered—bridal shower, birthday, wedding, and even a retirement cake—has been nothing short of perfection. Their cakes are exceptionally moist, made with real sugar, and topped with frosting that is silky, flavorful, and never waxy. Each bite tastes like it was crafted with care and passion.
What sets them apart is their incredible personalization. They always take the time to listen, collaborate, and bring creative ideas to life. Whether it’s a classic design or something unique, they deliver with professionalism, kindness, and artistry. The team is not only talented but genuinely dedicated to making every occasion special.
I can’t speak more highly about this bakery—their creativity, consistency, and warmth make them a true gem. If you’re looking for cakes that are beautiful, delicious, and made with heart, Honeymoon Sweets is the place to go.
