Pearl’s Parkview Café is a charming little spot in Clarksburg, West Virginia, offering a mix of ice cream, coffee, and quick eats. The café sits just along the West Fork River, across from the VA Park, which adds to the relaxing, small-town feel.
Atmosphere – 4/5
The interior is small but very clean and welcoming. There are a few tables inside, with additional seating outside near the entrance, as well as across the lot where you’ll find picnic tables and a small pavilion — perfect for enjoying your treat by the river. The décor is cheerful and patriotic, with fun signs and a friendly vibe. It definitely feels like a local favorite.
Service – 4/5
The staff greeted me with a smile and were friendly throughout. Unfortunately, what I originally wanted wasn’t available because they were cleaning the ice cream machine during lunch hours. A bit inconvenient, but I understand maintenance has to be done sometime. They handled it well, and I adjusted my order with no issue.
Food – 4/5
Since options were limited, I went with a chocolate shake — and it ended up being a great choice. Creamy, rich, and full of flavor. I’m not usually a chocolate shake fan, but this one surprised me. They also have a solid variety of food options, including pizza, pepperoni rolls, hot dogs, and snacks like tater tots and nachos. I didn’t get to try the hot food this visit, but I definitely plan to come back for it.

Pearl’s offers an impressive selection of gourmet cheesecakes and frozen take-home items. The display coolers are well-stocked, and the prices are reasonable. This place would be a great pit stop whether you’re craving coffee, dessert, or a quick bite.

Ordered ‘The Big Dog’ – and this thing is freaking enormous – along with a side of tater tots and a large Diet Coke. Total came to less than $12, which is actually a really, really good deal. The food was freshly prepared so it takes a few minutes. Customer service was very, very friendly and food delivery was around 10 minutes, which was fine. The view from the sit down tables at the window, across to the green grass and rolling hills, was very nice. There are a LOT of cheesecake desserts in the chill boxes, a WIDE variety of ice cream treats and pints, as well as cookies. Entire store was very, very clean. It’s easy to highly recommend this place!

❤️❤️❤️❤️ Absolutely high quality place! I take my hat off to These people ! Wow outstanding! The hot spot is really set up amazingly! The employees a GREAT THAT GIRL IS SO SWEET AND SO PROPER! The man that greeted us I bet has a really big heart he just seemed like one of them men that are what you’d call a good man! I wonder if he owns it. Highly recommend ice cream stuff is so good!!

My family and I came in tonight for some ice cream. We were disappointed. We waited at the counter for a few minutes and no one said hello or anything. This is a no frills place with about 6 or so seats. I finally said hello and then the girl came to greet us. She was nice to let me try their flavor of the season which is a dole pineapple whip. It was ok. My dad got a banana split, it was the first ever I’ve seen without a banana. Weird. I got a cheesecake. I thought it was a little over priced at $7. I had to ask for a fork to eat the cheesecake, they didn’t just hand it over like I would have expected. The lady handed it to me but failed to mention that the cases in the front are freezers. I wasn’t able to eat with my dad. I cut into it to try it, it wasn’t very good. No one said bye or thanks for coming in or anything when we left. We won’t be back. Bad boring grub. Inattentive staff.

Was expecting more of a cafe feel for breakfast but if you’re looking for sweets this is the place. They have little beautiful cheesecakes and ice cream, cookies and coffee drinks mostly. The only breakfast options they offer are a sausage sandwich which were sold out and bagels. It was too early for us to eat pizza or pepperoni rolls so got bagels. The everything bagel was really good, blueberry one was okay but not really what you would call breakfast. Will go back to try out their cheesecakes. Good prices, clean place and friendly people.

Lil on the pricey side but there cheesecake selection is like NOTHING I’ve ever seen!!! N there not cheap but they r worth the price in taste n variety! Think they have like 25-30 different flavors of cheesecakes from blackberry, blueberry, heath, banana split, pumpkin, apple pie, keylime, strawberry, chocolate lovers, oreo, reeses, butterfingers, n if u get the reg plain new York cheesecake one u can have them add any topping u would like to it! I couldn’t believe the selection! It’s kinda hard to even pick a couple. They’re about the size of the cheesecake servings that sheetz has but they’re like almost $8 after tax. They do have a good selection of food also. My son got a chocolate shake n I believe a 10′ pepperoni pizza n it came to like $18. But he could add toppings to his shake. The service is quick n girls are nice/ helpful

The best ice cream place in town! We’ve tried something new every time and it’s all been delicious, even the espresso drinks. Their sweet and creamy black raspberry ice cream appears to have been made with real fruit and I believe it’s always fresh made. They have a pretty good selection and I love that the menu is online. They are open long hours and have a drive-thru as well, so what more could you ask for? Go check it out!
