We originally planned to eat ramen at Hibiki, but walked past it and decided to try Time 4 Thai instead. Surprisingly, we ended up being served ramen there.
I’ve eaten ramen in three different countries. I know a thing or two.
– I think that the ramen was missing a bit of ginger and soy sauce.
– The ajitama eggs were the whitest we’ve ever seen.
– The broth was warm rather than hot, which was a little disappointing.
– The price felt somewhat high, with most ramen dishes priced between £14.99 and £16.99. On the other hand it came with 2 gyozas and some salads.
– The biggest surprise, however, was noticing that a tip had been added to the receipt without being asked.
On the positive side, the meat was juicy, well-seasoned, grilled, and cooked very well.
Overall, the restaurant has a good vibe and the staff were friendly.

Lovely Thai food with generous portions. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I would definitely visit again to sample other things on the extensive menu.

I can’t judge the overall quality of the main courses because I only had mango sticky rice. The dessert was very good flavorful and colourful as well as plated very beautifully and elaborately. The location is big clean and it can both be suited for casual events as well as more elegant or formal occasions. The decorations are quite typical for a Thai restaurant and overall the space is enjoyable.

I have been to this restaurant twice now. Each and every time, the employees welcomed me with a smile. Nothing asked of them is too much trouble. The first meal I chose was the Panang Curry, and was surprised at how generous they were with the proportions of meat. The second meal I chose was Garlic black bean wok stir fry. Again, great portions of meat. Overall I think the food was packed with flavour. The building is beautiful from the outside, with radiating purple lights. Very eye catching. The inside is just as beautiful. My experience with the staff was amazing. They were attentive, helpful and friendly. I would call this a hidden gem, and well worth a visit.

My local friends frequent this restaurant and warned me the service is a little slow. Sure enough, it took almost half an hour for the starter to arrive. Luckily, I wasn’t hungry.
The duck curry was lovely, although the curry was a bit too sweet for me.
Overall, it was a decent meal.

What’s the delicious Thai food! There are authentic tastes like you eat in Thailand. I rarely order chicken dishes from restaurants, but fried lemongrass chicken wings were yummy, crispy, and well-maintained. Calamari was crispy, and dipping sauce was so flavorful. My entrée was Pka Pad Cha was also delish. I ate it all with jasmine rice. Also the service was great, no complain. My last night dinner in Edinburgh was well remembered. Thank you.

The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent – friendly, attentive, and professional. Everyone made us feel very welcome, and the overall experience was wonderful. Highly recommended, and we will definitely come back again!
If you want it shorter, more casual, or more luxury-style, tell me and I’ll adjust it

We came as a group of five and had a great meal. I had the chicken with chilli — absolutely delicious and full of flavour. Everyone else loved their dishes too.
Jim, the owner, was incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great Thai food in Edinburgh!

Visited this restaurant as part of a large group. Service was very good. Everyone in my group was pleased with their choices, including a few who have been to Thailand. My starter was fish cakes tasted fine but had an odd rubbery texture – I’m not sure if this is in the style of Thai cooking or not. The lighting, decor and general ambiance is nice.

It’s a little tucked away and seemed a bit quiet when we went it, but the service was attentive, friendly and fast and the food was delicious – the sweetcorn fritters were some of the best I’ve ever had! I also tried a dessert of sweet, sticky rice with mango. It was a slightly alarming colour and was definitely unusual to a Western palate, but it was delicious. All the food is really fresh and flavourful.
