The BBQ here is really good. The building has a cool atmosphere and it’s kind of in an interesting location where they cook right out back. A good number of people from Vance AFB will make the pilgrimage up here because of their large portions and good food.
The ribs are the thing to get but they don’t cook them every night. If you want to go up during the week call to see if they will cook some up for you.

What a disappointment. We ate here last year (May 2012) and it was excellent. This year was horrible (June 2013). Evidently there was a disagreement amongst management and owners. Someone else is running the BBQ Joint now and it is awful. We ate there twice this year thinking it was a bad night the first time. Wrong. It is consistently bad. The brisket was dried to a crisp, the ribs were dried up. They are only open Thursday thru Saturday. It seems as though they cook for Thursday and feed you leftovers til Saturday. I was really looking forward to this place. I found out the former manager is running a white food truck in town down main street on certain days only and Enid on the other days. Sunday evenings and Monday afternoons in Pond Creek? Well worth finding. It is the fabulous food we remember.
