I decided to treat myself to a quiet solo dinner at Cayman Cabana, and I’m so glad I did. This was my first time visiting, and is worth it. You’re right by the water with boats passing and a soft ocean breeze such a peaceful, relaxing vibe. It’s the perfect spot for a solo date, catching up with a friend, or just unwinding after a long day.
I originally planned to try the fish burger, but the catch of the day was snapper (not my favorite), so I switched things up and ordered the Paradise Burger instead and that turned out to be a great decision. It was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with fresh toppings. I also tried the Cayman-style beef to get a taste of something local, and it did not disappoint. It was well-seasoned, full of Caribbean flavor, and clearly made with care.
The service was just as impressive as the food. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. As someone dining alone, I really appreciated how comfortable they made the experience.
Overall, Cayman Cabana delivers on food, service, and atmosphere. If you’re looking for a chill waterfront dining spot in the Cayman Islands, this is definitely one to add to your list. I’ll absolutely be back to explore more of the menu
Only after leaving did I realise we had been overcharged. The meal.and drinks should have been around $45 but the transaction was $65. While it’s dissapointing I am certain its an error and not a scam. Ultimately its my fault as I should have checked more carefully.
Food was amazing! We had the Lobster Lollipops and Seafood Boil…..it was Fantastic! It was plenty food for both my husband and I. I did not get a pic, oops!
They also were a sponsor for the Cayman Classic, that is how we learned about the restaurant.
The deck up top was such a great view!
Only remark is that island time is a thing. Don’t be in hurry. Food took a minute to arrive but was worth it!
Very good food and not far from the port. Did not feel like a tourist trap.
We came hoping for a sunset, but even with cloudy skies, the experience was top-tier. My husband ordered the fish market daily special—red snapper—and it was perfectly prepared. I went with the classic “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” and it lived up to the name! It was about a half pound of ground beef patty and was too big to bite into. I had to take a bite off the top and then one off the bottom! It was normally served with fries, but this was so much calorie overload I had a side salad instead. The ice tea was great also. Our server was also very attentive.
The outer deck offered panoramic ocean views that were nothing short of spectacular. Cloudy sunset or not, the atmosphere, food, and coastal beauty made it an evening to remember.
