Had a great experience at Pancheros today, and a huge part of that was the blonde cashier working the front. She was incredibly smart, professional, and clearly knew her stuff. She made sure everyone knew about the rewards app, the 3x points day, and even let customers know that Fridays come with a $5 discount — which is awesome.
The food was good as always, but her service is truly why I keep coming back. She’s a vital part of this location and absolutely deserves recognition from the business for her dedication and exceptional customer service. She made a lasting impression on me today, and I’ll definitely continue choosing this Pancheros because of her.

This Pancheros Mexican Grill has been at this location for over a decade by my memory. I used to really enjoy their fresh burritos, especially as they and other similar restaurants were beginning to become popular across the Midwest in the early 2000s. I felt like a burrito today and as such, opted to relive some old burrito memories by visiting this location.
The location is as it’s always been, sitting right on the corner of a strip mall on Utica Ridge Road. The building, both inside and out, is clean in both hygiene and appearance. The light yellow and black theming with wood accents is easy on the eyes, especially combined with the scattered placement of incandescent lighting, some of which is directly attached to walls on fixtures while others are hung from the ceiling and partially obscured by cylindrical metallic shades. The ceiling area has that modern style of exposed HVAC with no drop tiles, which aides in the illusion of the space being larger than it actually is. On the whole, I like it.
I opted for a steak burrito with fajita vegetables, complimented with black beans, salsa verde, and corn. The burrito was as delicious as I remember, but with the added benefit of being stirred together before being wrapped up. I hadn’t tried this before and really enjoyed it. Contributing was the balanced spicing and seasoning of all the ingredients – nothing tasted too salty or extra spicy.
I’d definitely return for another burrito in the future. The space is easy to get to and the meal was the perfect size for what I needed for lunch. Thanks Pancheros!

The only bad thing about Pancheros is that there aren’t enough of them in this world. You simply cannot find a better tortilla for the burrito. They’ve also “revolutionized” the burrito industry by mixing burrito ingredients together so each bite is uniform.

Really good experience here. I had read a review several years ago and was hesitant on trying this restaurant. I was in the mood for a burrito and lots of places were too far away. Tried it and enjoyed it. It was filling. Similar to a subway where you choose what you like but with tacos and burritos.
