Way over priced mediocre food. $9.00 for a kids chicken strip meal!!!! Biscuit and gravy not homemade. Cold chili on chili cheese dog. Sticky tables. Jelly on table gone bad. My ranch loving kids hated the odd tasting ranch. Fries were good not a fan of the chicken strips

Absolutely fantastic! Pancakes were perfectly light and fluffy, sausage was delicious! My wife chose the skillet (photo attached) and it was so good, I was FORCED to take a bite. Good coffee, great staff, and family-owned — highest recommendation.

Best breakfast joint in Dexter. Must try! Every time I go here they make you feel like family. The owners help the workers side by side every day to provide an exceptional level of service and high quality diner food for both dining In or taking home. You have to try their biscuits and gravy.

A nice small town cafe. Based on location it’s more expensive than some diners around us. Downtown Dexter is nice. Our server was friendly and on top of coffee fills and everything else. Food was good. Menu had most options you would look for including crepes… but no eggs benedict.

I came for lunch with hubby on Saturday during a Michigan game on a snowy day so the place was empty, although we arrived just around noon.
Staff were all friendly and the place was roomy, neat and clean. Cute little downtown area of dexter and there some parkings available on the street and down the street not too far from the restaurant and it was free.
I ordered crepes but they didn’t have the Macedonian nut crepe on the menu so I asked for a little customization.
The order came fast and the staff were kind enough to accommodate my custom request.
The food was okay but the crepes were like 5in long at the most, which was pretty small…. It was also greasy to where it looked almost like it was fried.
My husband got two eggs with bacon and looked okay too but that was about it. He said the hash brown was made of frozen stuff and this food portion was relatively small as well.
We both just ate fine but wasn’t fully satisfied with what we got. It’s quite a shame because the pictures looked so good and bigger portion, and the place looks cozy and cute. But for what we got and what we paid( about $28 with tip) I don’t know if I could recommend this place, unless I’m in the area during meal time or something.
Service was great though so if you’re not a huge eater and more of someone who is looking for a place to just have a cozy meal, this place is a neat place indeed.
