While visiting Boise, Idaho I wanted to find a place to watch the ballgame. Was recommended to visit Hyde Park Pub & Grill to catch the Milwaukee Brewers game as it’s a Wisconsin themed bar. Great atmosphere, tap list and food options. Highly recommend the wings! So good!

My wife and I are retired. Today, Tuesday, we took a field trip from our home in Star to Camel’s Back Park, where we hiked up to the top and enjoyed the view. We thought it would be nice to have lunch in Hyde Park, an area we enjoy, and so we tried Hyde Park Pub and Grill for the first time. The interior is full of dark wood, some TV screens for sports, and a bar area. To me, hints of an Old English Pub, which I’m sure is the ambience they’re going for. Warm and comfy. The restaurant was not crowded, and we took a booth facing 13th St. Our server, a young woman with shorter hair and some facial jewelry, who was knitting a sweater (how cool!) when she was not tending customers, was our server and took great care of us. My wife had the burger and fries and I had the Fiesta Chicken Salad. My wife enjoyed her burger. My salad was tasty, though the chicken was a little dry. We will be back!

Fantastic local pub in Boise’s North End. Great food and drinks at fair prices. Happy hour specials everyday from 4-6pm. During football season this fine establishment turns into Green Bay Packers HQ, every table filled with fans cheering on the Pack. Be sure to say hi to the owners, John and Michelle and chat up John about all Wisconsin sports! GO PACK GO!!

I really enjoyed the food and drinks at Hyde Park Pub and Grill. We ended up eating in the front which was a bit quieter than in the back pub area. The decor is a bit sparse and it’s not really comfortable in the way that would invite you to spend hours of your time drinking like an English pub would.
The food and drinks were outstanding though! We shared the veggie fried rice. That alone is worth the trip! With the tofu and veggies with the rice, veggies, and tofu it’s already tasty but I strongly suggest you make it loaded. This will add pickled carrot, daikon, jalapeños, cilantro, and gochujang aioli. The portion was more than generous and we split it easily. We also had a kind of hot rum drink which was a special that month. It was delicious and we each had two of them. They weren’t overly sweet but just enough that they slid down easily. I will be happy to visit this pub again!

Had dinner here with my nieces. We wanted to catch up so we sat in the front room near the fireplace. It was a lovely atmosphere and quiet enough to talk. The food was delicious. Great service. Decent prices. I highly recommend it!

The is a cute little corner spot in a charming area, but the service was sub par. We visited Thursday evening (9/4) at 8pm, and waited at our table for 30 minutes to be served drinks, with multiple servers making eye contact with us. Not until I waived someone down were we addressed. We had to waive down a waitress to order. The bartender was really polite, but the servers were unimpressive.

Hyde Park Pub is my favorite place to eat in boise. I always get a bacon cheeseburger, and all I can say is that the meat is excellent, the bacon is always pink but cooked perfectly, and they always add my extra pickles. The service is impeccable. The waitresses are always kind and are refilling drinks as soon and they’re empty, getting more sauce for tater tots, just totally helping out at all times. They deserve all the stars I could ever give. The manager is especially wonderful, and she deserves a shoutout. One time, I thought my burger was less than it was because inflation had made the price go up. She gave me a discount so I could pay for it. The sweetest people in a restaurant I’ve ever met.
