The food here is AMAZING!! The food is very flavorful and the portions are good. I really like Mexican food and this place has been the best Mexican food I’ve had. Their Margaritas are great also!! The place is very clean and the service was very good as well. Definitely recommend eating here, and I will for sure be back!

We went there to eat lunch today. We bought one children’s meal and two adult meals. The total including tax was over $76. With a tip it was $87.

My husband ordered the parillada which had steak, chicken, chorizo, shrimp, pork, cactus and two green onions. It was a little over $22.

I ordered the carne asada beef ribs. It was in the steak section of the menu. The description said steaks, ribs, spring onions, cactus and salad.

Both of us received a heaped sizzling platter, my husband’s was packed with meat, and all the food mentioned. The only onions on his platter were the two green onions.

Mine, which was two dollars more expensive than my husbands’s meal, was packed with no less than two whole sliced onions, topped with jalapeño, cactus, the two green onions and some beef short ribs. These were very thinly sliced and had huge bones, they had very little meat on them. In some cases, it was just the bones with no meat at all. There was no steak…just the plate bulging with onions and bone slices. Judging by the menu description, I had expected a steak and some short rib slices on top of it.

I let the waiter know and he went into the kitchen, then there was a lengthy debate with the kitchen staff and then the girl at the front register. Finally she came over and told me that my steak dish didn’t come with steak. She told me it was an error in the menu. I was obviously confused. I had ordered a steak topped with ribs….it clearly said steak….COMMA…..ribs.

Even IF these were “steak ribs” and not beef ribs and there was a comma where there shouldn’t have been, why then was this in the steak section? I said this to them and they refused to make it right, offering instead to charge us for a steak to go with it.

Attached are pictures of the menu, the dish with the ribs and the pile of onions once the thin ribs were gone. I wish I’d taken a picture of my husband’s less expensive meal that came with a good portion of steak, chicken, pork, chorizo and at least 6 jumbo shrimp.

Just so you know…The plate you’re looking at with onions and bones was $24.35.
It’s a shame because my husband’s meal was decent value, and this review could have gone differently if they had offered to make mine right.

I despise dishonestly in marketing or presentation so we will not be returning here. But I will bet the “error”on the menu won’t be fixed, so be warned if you eat here that at least one of their “steak” meals has no steak.

In terms of ambiance, the staff then proceeded to stand around behind our table, make fun of us and insult us in Spanish. Unbeknownst to them, even though I don’t look it, I grew up in Mexico and speak fluent Spanish so I understood every word they said. Not at all what you’d expect when paying almost $90 for lunch with tip included.

I definitely DON’T recommend eating at a place where honesty and integrity don’t exist and where their customers are rewarded with insults and slurs.

So glad to have this restaurant so close. We used to drive to Hazel Green to get Mexican food. Now it’s only a couple of minutes. Really nice on the inside. Food is just as good as the other location. Looking forward to visiting here often.

Great food and service. Enjoyed a nice lunch with my daughter. Portions are pretty large and good flavor. Little more cost than some but at the high end of quality and flavor is worth it.

Very nice 1st experience at this restaurant, food was outstanding and also the service, waiter visited our table several times keeping our drinks full, bringing salsa and chips and even what looked to be a manger came over and checked on us, all very polite, restaurant was very clean and neat. Definitely will be back. I definitely didn’t think their prices were to expensive like some of the reviews on here posted and some of the reviews well let’s just say you can’t please some people no matter what you do.

Super friendly staff. Great tasting, authentic food. Very affordable. My mom said it’s the best Chile Relleno she has ever had. Dinner for 2 was $19.98. (didn’t get drinks, although I did see a drink menu so they must have gotten their liquor license approved, pricing looked on par to other restaurants) We’ll be back.

Ok ! They sure do know how to season their meat!
If you love chicken and rice ( my little ones favorite) they have the adult version! It has broccoli, grilled onions, chicken, shrimp and steak on a bed of rice and of course cheese sauce! Yummmm! (Shhh I had enough for lunch the next day!)

First time eating here.
The food was delicious.
The service was great.

Honestly the location is not on our side out town, so we went out of the way to meet some friends here for dinner. It was worth the drive.
