Waitress was attentive and followed up regularly.
Cozy and not to hot or cold within the building.
The definition of not judging a book by it’s cover
I definitely recommend a visit if you’re nearby. The food, service, and price are all excellent, giving the experience a homemade feel.
Only, thoughts. It could have been slightly less sweet and i wish there were more than four banchan options, maybe potatoes and pancake? I really like anchovies as well.
I will go back everyone I’m in the area for sure.
I ordered Japchae and a bi bim bap. Both were delicious. Well seasoned meats and a ton of veggies. They are a tad pricey but it was still reasonable.
I did find the bi bim bap, overall, a little plain on its own, but once I added some red sauce, delicious. Spicy and sweet. Really good.
The bi bim bap is a rice dish served in a hot stone bowl. I recommend mixing the sauce and rice at the beginning to keep from getting the rice too crispy.
I Let my rice get too crispy (my own doing, not against the restaurant).
Overall a good experience. Reminder they do close ar 2:30p so try not showing up at 2p… I did this, but the hostess/waitress was very accommodating regardless. Recommend checking out if you’re in the area.
With every order, you get spicy pickles, kimchi, and sweet vinegar radish (they will bring more, all you have to do is ask, please only order what you will eat and not waste)
Have tried many of the dishes and would highly recommend the gunmandu (dumplings), bibimbop, japche, chicken yakisoba. Each dish can be made as spicy as you like. Small dishes will feed 3-4 people, large 4-6.
