Great ‘side of the road’ place to ‘chew the fat’ with the locals. I am not too sure what has taken me so long to stop in and try it out. The special today was the Hamburger Steak with mashed potatoes and green beans.
It is a far from perfect facility and that is what gives it its flavor to be unlike any other place.

Excellent place to eat!! It is like sitting at home getting a home cooked meal. The restaraunt has a country store in it as well. The owners are the ones running the place and cooking the food. Mack was an enjoyment to sit and talk to. This man has been here longer than most of the oldest farmers. He can give you a history lesson. The food was great!! The fries were awesome. We will become regulars here. I recomend this place any and all.

The restrooms are outside. The staff could not open the ladies room after several attempts. We were charged for a water we did not order. I didn’t know a place could charge $3.00 for a cup of ice water! The table was sticky as were the napkin holders and sugar jar. I can say the BLT was small, but acceptable. If you order a chef’s salad, expect a ton of highly salted pork cubes. Not worth the visit.

Called in 2 omelets. First one only had ham an cheese the 2nd was a western omelet. When I get there to pay the older lady said it was $27. I can eat a steak dinner for that. No omelet is worth $27
