This burrito was a scam. Straight up. It was 90% tortilla and about 10% filling. A California burrito is supposed to be stuffed with meat and fries, but this one looked like they ran out halfway through making it and said “good enough.” One sad patch of meat, barely any fries, and no weight to it at all. Dry, disappointing, and not even close to what you expect. If you’re craving a real California burrito, don’t come here—this ain’t it.

Authentic Mexican food/atmosphere at Abelardo’s Mexican… pro’s: we liked our nachos plate with steak and plenty of cheese with our soft drinks. While we waited for friends to arrive. Served quick and good.

This was the fourth time we’ve received the wrong order at this location, and it will absolutely be the last.
We ordered the green chile plate and were given barbacoa instead. When we called, instead of apologizing or trying to fix the issue, we were called liars. Management argued with us and claimed we received the correct food because they “checked their cameras.” To make it worse, they called us twice after 11 PM to continue accusing us of lying. Completely inappropriate.
Our family of eight has eaten here weekly for months, spending over $250 a month at this specific Abelardo’s. Not once did we receive an apology — only hostility and accusations.
On top of that, the drive-thru takes forever, and apparently you’re expected to be okay with whatever food you get, whether it’s what you ordered or not.
After multiple incorrect orders and being treated with disrespect, we are done. If you value customer service, accountability, or basic courtesy, I’d think twice before ordering here.

Continues to go downhill. I decided to try again after a break and hoping things would improve. Skimpy carne asada burrito that was served cold. Yes cold tortilla without any browning or crispiness…and cold steak barely warmed up Taquitos were also cold and dry as hell. Couldn’t even melt the cheese kinda cold and what happened to the big splash of guac? Cheap, cold and definitely no pride in Mexican food.

I decided to give this place a second try because the food wasn’t good 6 months ago. I ordered the carna asada rice bowl with avocado and got home everything tasted bland. Like do you season anything? Steak again like last time 6 months ago was dry. That’s the final straw will never be back which is sad because I live near there. Very disappointing. Now I am not feeling good…

Everything about this place was great. Very clean and nicely decorated inside with plenty of seating. The menu was vast and displayed on large screens which made it easy to read. The food was delicious, hot and fresh and soooo flavorful. The staff was friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend this place.

I had to stop here late at night because everything else was closed. Ordered the Arizona Burrito — and it was a DISASTER.
I was THROWING UP ALL NIGHT, got severe food poisoning, and couldn’t get out of bed for three days.
Now I can’t even eat properly — just water and broth.
How can a restaurant serve food that makes people this sick?!
STAY AWAY — this place should be inspected by the health department!
