Every staff member was super friendly and greeted us as we walked in. The store was clean and well stocked. Our servers were fantastic. They were super friendly and made the food incredibly delicious. I would highly recommend this location! Props to both the employees and management.
Workers NEVER greeted us, one worker only asked what option we wanted and at the time of the day it was very slow. We were the only customers in the restaurant, but yet we were rushed to finish our orders. The second staff gave us dirty looks, staring at us like we were bothering him by taking our order and he could have not used a tone loud enough that he didn’t want to do his job. Then as we proceeded to cash out, the female staff was a cherry as the serving size they scooped for my sons bowl (1/2 of scoops) but had no problem annunciating TIP at the end without even saying have a great day… but being the better customer, I still tipped them $1 and the day they deserve. Unbelievable…
Decided to give it another chance here in Connecticut. I should have stuck to my previous experiences.
Upon entering we were greeted which was sincere.
The menu is on the wall and we were deciding on what to have. The server asked if we were ready and we said not yet. Once we started ordering, it’s just like a Subway type serving station as we tell them what we want and they add toppings etc.
Just heads up, prices are higher than most sit down, upper scale restaurants with better food and you get served. Portions are small and you have to request items that states what it comes with or you won’t get it.
Example:
Tuesday Tacos $6.99
Your choice of beef, steak, pork or chicken , hard or soft shell. Than you add lettuce, cheese and so on. Comes with a drink, chips & salsa.
At the register, they’re charging $6.99 for meal and $2.49 for drink. You then get no salsa. When I asked the server she said it’s upon request. I reply; “Menu says comes with it that means I don’t ask you it should be on my plate.”
Next question I posed is the charge for the drink. One cashier removes it and the other one turns around and said they have to add it and in the end it is removed.
Food was mediocre especially the steak was hard, overcooked or been sitting too long.
Chairs and tables were dirty and your drunk station was a mess and sticky.
Overall impression:
-Poor detail to menu order or specifications.
-Place is a total mess
-Food is average, nothing special.
-Drinks are watered down.
-Sweet tea was empty as no one checks to refill. Said would take 5-10 minutes.
-Over priced for small, tasteless meals.
I guess you know I am never returning to to Moe’s again!
Sad thing is, that’s my nickname my whole life, Moe……
I was served the bottom of the container of the white meat chicken. It was so overdone, they look like croutons and taste as dry. I ended up earing the rice, cheese and lettuce and threw the rest out. What a disappointment and waste of money.
…and another thing. I understand not being able to use 2 coupons, but not being able to use a coupon and your rewards points to pay? That doesn’t seem fair. You earned those points.
Sorry. With tip I lost over $13 for a meal I couldn’t eat.
Not a content customer for that visit.
