This was our first time visiting and definitely would return! For our appetizers we had the Lamb lollipops (this was a special and not a regular menu item). They were a bit over cooked for my liking but were still very tasty. You get 4 in an order so ignore my picture of 3, I was hungry . We also had the hot peppers in oil. The portion was large and they tasted great! They also had just the right amount of heat for me, but others may find them too hot. They went perfect with the crusty bread they serve. They give you a salad with the meals we ordered and we both got the house balsamic and it was definitely one of the best ones I’ve had in a while. Both my wife and I had meals off the specials menu so these are not regular menu items. I had the Swordfish over parmesan risotto with asparagus. The whole meal was cooked perfectly and was well worth the price. My wife had the Chilean Sea Bass with parmesan risotto and asparagus. Her’s too was cooked perfectly and tasted great! All of the portions were generous and worth the price. Even my kids meals! My daughters kids steak was huge! I’d also like to give a shout out to our server Raegen for making our 1st visit a memorable one, excellent service, and being an absolute joy to dine with!!!

I have always wanted to eat here but never found the opportunity. My friends and I decided to go for brunch.
What a beautiful restaurant! The decor and Christmas tree up front is so beautiful. We took pictures in front of the tree when we left.
The brunch menu and drinks were awesome. My friends and I each tried something different and loved everything. I got the brioche breakfast. Really tasty.
Amanda was our waitress and took great care of us, kept our drinks full and shared a few laughs. The manager even stopped by to check on us and see how everything was going. You don’t see that much anymore.
Will definitely be back!

I recently held a bridal shower here and was pleasantly surprised and left happier than what I would have expected. I chose Cafe 422 on the suggestions of friends and family despite having a terrible experience right before covid.
Heather did an incredible job with handling all of my needy requests and questions and made sure myself and guests were fully taken care of from first meeting to the end of the event. She had help for us at the restaurant and even helped with decorating. I was blown away by this. Thank you. Many restaurants I considered just handed me a menu and were not as flexible as Cafe 422. The staff here was so gracious, warm and personable. I will recommend booking events here to all of my friends and family and will be booking another event in May.
Our Server, Regan, was also incredible and personable. She went above and beyond and made myself and my guests very comfortable and taken care of.
Food was also great! The brunch spread was incredible with the Chicken Francaise and French Toast being a favorite.
As a group of women that are hard to please. Thank you so much for your hospitality and service. We will be back.

Definitely stepping up their game some very good meals at good prices and the Wood-Fired pizzas are better than ever. Best atmospheres on the bar side service is is good in the bar atmosphere is comfortable for casual or for semi-formal dining. Overall a great experience

This review is specific to one experience at Boardman today. I’ve had multiple amazing experiences at the Niles location. I have a dairy allergy, I’ve ordered the chicken Parmesan before and they prepare it the same minus the cheese. I let the server know about my allergy and when she brought the food she told me they didn’t bread it and that it’s just grilled chicken. She should have came out and told me that I would have changed my order but instead she did not tell me and just brought me plain chicken with marinara. She also told me they were doing penne instead of angel hair because they were worried about dairy. This made zero sense to me as it’s pasta either way, just a difference in shape not ingredients. My friend ordered soup and when the waiter brought the soup she spilled some in her martini. No biggie, accidents happen and she remade the martini (which took 20 minutes). During this time my friend did not have a spoon and because the server didn’t come back with the drink for 20 minutes, the soup was cold by the time we were able to ask for the spoon. The cherry on top was when the server offered to pack our food for us, and she then grabbed our bread with her bare hands and put it in our to go box. I genuinely was lost for words.

Whether eating at Cafe 422 in Boardman or Warren they are both lovely places to have a delicious pasta dish, fish, a great steak or some very tempting chicken dishes. Along with those who love veal, they have several options as well. I usually opt for fish and my husband orders steak. Their wedding soup is yummy & any dessert has been wonderful. We love the lemon cake & I will always relish a bowl filled with spumoni ice cream. They have a nice bar & patio at this location too.

We called on a Tuesday looking for a place to have dinner for our family and friends after a funeral service on that Friday. I left a message waiting to get a call back from a manager when I didn’t get a call we called again and were able to speak to the manager and get everything set. They were easy to work with for a large group in the banquet room, the catering menu was on point and the serving staff was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for an easier transition during a difficult time for our family.

The food was delicious. We were there for a dinner after a funeral. The catering service was very pretty but they didn’t keep up with drinks or checking to see if people needed anything. If it wasn’t for that it would have been 5 stars

Breaded Zucchini and bread was fabulous but the prime rib was not. I am not even convinced it was prime rib. Resembled and tasted like a seonless sirloin steak. It was 1/4 inch thick, overcooked, and not tender. I wish I had taken a picture to post. Our server was too busy to actually be persable and he spoke as he was walking away so none of us even understood anything he was saying. He did however check on use periodically. We sat at the bar for 25 minutes while waiting on our table, ordered drinks, and my husband never got his till we told the hostess who seated us when the table was ready. It is unlikely I will return.
