I don’t really understand all the great reviews? While the place had a festive vibe and the service was fine, the food was the blandest I’ve ever eaten. There was no freshness, no cilantro or green onions or fresh tomatoes. The nachos were watery because of all the black beans. Rice and beans had no flavor and the chicken enchiladas were bland but at least I could taste the corn wraps. I hope the restaurant can reevaluate how their food tastes otherwise I can’t imagine people would continue to eat here. Sorry for the review, I am usually very easy to please so this was sadly, not a positive experience.

Absolutely loved this place! The food is amazing- fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish exceeded our expectations. The service truly stood out as well as our waitress was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome throughout the entire meal. She checked on us at just the right times and had great recommendations. An overall wonderful experience, thank you claudia

We had been to Agave years ago and weren’t impressed. We decided to try it again when our friends told us there is a good happy hour. I was pleasantly surprised . Our bartender was Josh and he was very nice and accommodating. I eat mostly plant based and there were some good options which is definitely not always the case. We’ll be back!

First time. The food was absolutely delicious. The Mexican Ice tea was phenomenal. It was Hibiscus tea, and tasted very natural and healthy.

Food is espetacular – we were 6 people and all of us had a great meal (besides the tortilla and churro that we were not a big fan) but I’d come back 100x! Great service and the place is impeccable clean!

This restaurant was love at first sip. My husband, a margarita connoisseur, gave his drink an appreciative thumbs up. But my mexcal martini trumped the cocktails. It was smoky with hints of tamarind, orange, and lemon. The plantain appetizer was filled with a short rib picadillo with mole, crema, queso fresco. The house salad was a great fresh veggie combo. Branzino and shrimp entrees were top flight as were the tres leche cake and spicy chocolate mousse cake. Our server, Emiliano, offered some the best service we’ve experienced in a long time. We were there during a three-course special for $40 each and a bottle of wine. Splendid experience!

I need many more than just five stars for this review. Claudia was our server and she was an absolute joy and an amazing server. She was so friendly, sweet knowledgeable. I can’t say enough good things about her. She is a huge asset to your restaurant. When she found out it was my birthday. She went and got me a huge happy birthday balloon put a candle in vanilla ice cream and Claudia and a few other servers and customers actually sand happy birthday to me! What an amazing wonderful experience and I cannot wait to go back to your restaurant, but only when Claudia is there.

My guest and I felt like this was food we could make ourselves at home. Nothing special about any of the entrees or nachos appetizer we ordered. The nachos were so small and only had maybe 10 chips. Like the other reviews note: The food was extremely bland. Lacked any spices or flavor. Fajitas came with plain boiled white rice and plain black beans. The peppers in the fajitas tasted blanched/ boiled- no flavor. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas. We both agreed we did not feel there was adequate amount of tequila in it. It tasted like orange juice and we did not feel any effects from 2+ margaritas. Despite great service; We will not be back due to the food and drink quality.

We’ve enjoyed a few meals here at Agave, the old ‘Wooden Wawa” location. Most recently a brunch. All four of us found the brunch menu to be very good. The starters in particular the quinoa and beet salads. The fish tacos were a favorite of mine, while the short fib taco I found a little dry.
