After visiting this breakfast restaurant, we were not as satisfied as other places on the island. The breakfast lacked flavor and was not real good. The eggs and potatoes were dry and seemed like they had been sitting up for a while. I did eat some of it but could not finish. My wife had the cheese grits and the cheese was just placed on top of the grits and not mixed in. That’s the big lump of cheese on the plate next to the bacon that the wife had to just scoop off the top, it was too much. I am not confident we will be visiting Hoot’s again.

We’ll start at the top …. you can’t find better service ANYWHERE! Attentive, polite, and fast! Food was excellent and fair value. We’ve never been to a place where food came out faster than you could pour cream in your coffee. Highly recommended. Don’t be discouraged if they say it’s a 15 minute wait ….. they turn tables faster than (deleted) and it’ll only be 9 minutes!

The service and food was great! I got a feta and cheese omelette and my husband got a combo meal with eggs, sausage, & pancakes. We sat @ the counter but it was hot because you could feel the heat coming out of the kitchen. I wouldn’t recommend it there. I will get a table next time inside or out. We enjoyed ourselves and we will be back again!

Great breakfast! Very fast service. Everyone in our party of 7 enjoyed eating at Hoots Breakfast and Lunch in Marco Island. Would eat here again. Be aware it’s like 95% indoor dining.

We discovered Hoot’s Breakfast and Lunch Diner on our recent trip to Marco Island . Hoot’s is definitely a hidden gem off the beaten path. We liked everything from the food, decor, atmosphere, and staff. I don’t know how the chef did it, I had the best poached eggs I’ve ever eaten. I ordered the crab cakes Benedict, absolutely delicious, you could really taste the crab and the hashbrowns were cooked perfectly, just the right amount of crunch .

Prices have gone up. Got charged $15 for a single waffle (no extra hash browns or meats)…just a small waffle. Glass of chocolate milk was $4.50. Bill was $75.00 for 4 of us to eat breakfast. Food was ok though.
