Pizzas, calzones & modern takes on classic Italian offerings are served at this comfy small chain.

We’ve had multiple pizzas (thin crust), house salads, chicken parm, eggplant parm, etc. over time. All were sub par. The house salads were good! The pizzas had puddles in the middle of the crust. Not just soft, they were truly soggy, repeatedly. My family used to go there regularly. We’re done. (See photo left side of half pizza.)

My boyfriend and I visited around 7pm Monday. We got mild wings and a large pie (with chicken sausage, pineapple and banana peppers on it). The wings were a 7.5/10, they were cooked perfectly but could use more seasoning. The pizza was a 10/10, the dough was soft with a crispy crust and had a solid ratio of ingredients. Also, just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Our server was Griff and he made the dining experience very pleasant. Nice clean restaurant with friendly staff, quick service and a calming atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place!

Pizzazz has the best salad! I love it so much! There is so much cheese on it! It is amazing. The pizza is also very good! But do not skip the salad!!! They are also very friendly! A must visit on the east side of Cleveland!!!

Food is always great, but pickup estimates for online ordering (on their website) need fixed. I understand that they send a text when food is ready, however, it makes it tough when you live 15 minutes away…do not want to wait for the text at home and have food just sitting there. For example, the online order receipt said the pickup should be ready in 30 minutes. Being 15 minutes away, I arrive at that 30 minute window fully understanding that it may take up to another 15 minutes if the kitchen is busy. The problem arises when the order is not ready until an hour and 15 minutes after ordering…45 minutes after the estimated time. This has happened twice to me within the last three months. Also, if the kitchen knows it is running behind with orders, it would be a good idea to wait to run the pizza through the oven until closer to when the full order is complete and not have it sit there on the counter for 45 minutes getting cold.

The service is terrific. The food outstanding. We had a pizza with mushrooms & grilled chicken that was loaded with toppings. The cheese tortellini with tomato cream was awesome. The first tortellini that I could actually taste the cheese. The sausage, corn & tomato soup was like nothing I had before. Could easily be a meal.

We’re new in the area and happy we found Pizzazz. We’ve been there about six times and enjoyed it every time. I’ve had the pasta a couple of times and love it that they don’t mind special orders, they actually put all the combinations on the menu! The pizza is good and the appetizers are usually fantastic. Even taco Tuesday is a blast and one of my favorites.

Food quality was horrible. Wait for 30+ minutes for a COLD pizza, and the pizza dough was definitely old. A frozen pizza would had been better.
The frying oil was probably old, too. Zucchini fries tasted bitter, it was also cold.
We had only one waitress who took care of the whole one side of the restaurant, who also bartended. Oddly enough, there were a bunch of waiters and waitresses in the back running around, the restaurant definitely feels very disorganized.
I want to support local businesses but serving cold food is just a no no.
The owner of this place has to do better!

Great service at bar for to go order! TY! However when arriving home – Chic cutlet parm served on what seemed to be old role. Cutlets were grilled not parm. Did not order tomatoes yet in order which added to wetting role. Chicken Caesar salad had barely any chicken .. croutons out weighed chicken 2:1. Fries very very soggy after 15 min drive.

Great atmosphere, but was blantly ignored by the hostess. Instead of saying “I’ll be right with you” she ignored me and continued on writing something down. No eye contact, NOTHING. I guess that is what you get when you have a bunch of teens working there.

Tried this local place. I sat in a booth on the bar side of the restaurant (no windows, meh lighting). There is nice outdoor seating and a brighter dining room with booths, tables and high tops. I enjoyed a decent martini but was disappointed with the saran-wrapped focaccia and the iceberg with shredded white cheese that was billed as a side salad. The chicken piccata was an interpretation of the real recipe but was tasty. This is not an authentic Italian place; it is a real Ohio-Italian family joint. Good value for the money. Not a fancy night-out place. Will come again. Note to kitchen: trim the woody end of the asparagus before you cook it.
Second visit: Fabulous Gnocchi Abruzzi. Highly recommended. But no one wants to smell Clorox while they are eating. Consider wiping down tables with something odorless.
