Food was horrible! Ordered BLT, bacon was very stringy and no tomato, lettuce was very small and limp and looked old. Iced tea had a taste of cleaning product. Menu stated several deserts. All they had were 3 slices of plain cheesecake which they had to thaw. Very dry and freezer burnt, hard. Was not charged for dessert as it was not able to be eaten. It used to be a good restaurant. Seemed as if they didn’t have food to prepare dishes correctly. One waitress who did the best she could alone. The other one quit! A waste of money, terrible meal!

The food was cold tasted ok but was not worth the 2 hour wait and pretty pricey for a pitiful meal and the waitresses seemed to be really nice but a little embarrassed from what was being served and knowing how long we had been there. This is first time I ever left a bad review. Typical service nowadays from alot of places. I think we should have went to fast food place and saved a 100 dollars. To bad for such a nice place. The owner probably unable to hire good help that actually cares about their job.

So this is a really good small town bar/restaurant. The people were great! Very friendly and helpful. Food came out quick and was very good with good portion sizes. Prices were reasonable, too. Only reason not a 5 is the steak was okay, not great. Would recommend if you’re passing through like we were.

We stopped here for dinner after the Nortre Dame game. We are from Virginia. The food was EXCELLENT and the people are fantastic! Real down home local vibe. After enjoying a steak dinner we talked and had drinks with the owner and employees who are some really down to earth people. Parker and his girlfriend provided us with top notch service and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be stopping by again in my travels.

We heard great things about Dilly’s and figured we would give it a try. When we walked in we were greeted by a kid playing video games on his iPad. I like to see a young man working however I think they were short staffed. We went ti the bar area to sit at a table because they seemed busy. It took ten minutes before our waitress came over to us. She told us immediately that our food was going to be an hour wait because they had some new cooks. We immediately ordered appetizers and then ordered our food. It took about ten minutes for us to get our waters. We also ordered some drinks. The nachos were pretty good. The cheesy bacon jalapeño corn dip is delicious! When we got our main order they mixed up for sides. I ordered a medium prime rib but they served me a well done prime rib. The burgers that we ordered were also overcooked. The macaroni and cheese was amazing! The sweet potato tots were great! The aesthetics of the restaurant were great. The bathroom was clean. I really liked this place and plan to try it again because I believe this is a potential 5 star experience. However I have to be honest about our first experience while remaining gracious about the circumstances. The waitress accommodated us on our bill due to the overcooked food. She was also very polite although she seemed overwhelmed. I will give this place another try. Our group really felt that they were having an off night. If it’s different better the next time I will adjust my rating accordingly.

I would not recommend or ever go back! Love the building that’s the best thing I can say. Have y’all ever heard of kitchen nightmares ya need ta call if y’all wanna stay in business! Sign says wait to be seated well after fifteen minutes we had to go look for someone to seat us even though we were the only two people in the restaurant the waitress seemed occupied n not at all friendly. Our order took forever n was not at all apealing it was extremely greesy n just bland no taste at all and the prices which weren’t on the menu were just not worth the quality. I wish y’all good luck but seriously the building is the best thing u got goin for ya.

Probably some of the best bar food in the state of indiana absolutely worth the ride biker friendly and when you order a double on the rocks you get a full double on the rocks. The jalapeno dip with chips was amazing.The chicken prime rib.Everything was very very good.

Came through Akron after a XC meet in Marion on way back to South Bend. Decided to take the small town route on SR 19 instead of busy 31.
Saw a Subway and planned on going there, but noticed Dilly’s next door. Walked in and immediately loved the industrial look and tall ceilings.
Menu was simple, but quite extensive with unique food choices. A well done 1 page both sides menu.
Food was on point. The layout on plates, the amount, the taste, all there. My wife had a Chicken Avocado wrap, I had their Dilly burger w/ an additional patty added. I could have gotten by with a single, it’s that big.
The husband and wife team both greeted us and seated us. The husband brought out our food and I complimented him on its presentation. Cool, funny guy that can cook some killer pub food. We will be back.

Made a reservation for 6 PM. The place was not busy and that is always an indicator. The waitress was a slob rude didn’t know her job and was snooty and smart mouth.. The appetizers came they were lackluster average bar slop. We asked the server to clear the table after he brought the main dishes. He was smart mouth saying that wasn’t his job.. The sirloin steak was tough and not cooked to order. Will not return now you know why the place is not busy on a Friday night at dinner time.
