The staff were all friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. (My spouse and I both ordered from a separately printed menu that may have been either new or a specials menu – I had the southwest chicken dish, and he had the salmon.)
Lastly, I’m a huge fan of creative theming, and Ford’s definitely didn’t disappoint there – the classic vehicle in the center of the restaurant, the gas pump handles as door handles, the napkins that resembled machine shop cloths, and even tire-rimmed sinks in the bathroom! Highest marks to the creative team that designed and built this restaurant.
If you’re visiting the Miromar mall or just passing through Estero, Ford’s Garage is worth a visit.
BTW, if you don’t like birds, you may want to choose an indoor table. We ate inside, but noticed the birds on the patio were numerous and maybe a bit pesky for guests at the tables outside. (See photo.) It’s possible they’re only there seasonally and/or certain times of the day, but based on how comfortable they seemed, I’m guessing they’re regulars.
Server was pleasant and polite. Large menu. Basically fast food. Food quality is not the strong point. Most of these items are heated and served. Our dishes particularly the meatloaf was not at all appetizing.
There are better choices nearby.
Ford’s Garage delivers strong retro vibes with a fun, automotive-themed atmosphere that immediately sets the tone. The classic car suspended over the bar, vintage décor, and glowing taps make it feel less like a restaurant and more like a well-tuned hangar for hungry pilots and thirsty travelers alike.
The Black-N-Bleu burger arrived cooked just right—juicy, flavorful, and balanced nicely with the bleu cheese and bacon. The Ford’s pickles were surprisingly delicious, crisp and tangy, and they come paired with a wasabi sauce that adds a bold, flavorful kick. If wasabi isn’t your jam, asking for ranch would be a wise alternate path. Paired with a side of onion rings, this was comfort food done right.
Service was friendly and efficient, keeping things moving smoothly. Plenty of TVs throughout make it an easy choice for catching a game, grabbing a craft beer, or just unwinding after a long day.
Overall, a solid stop for burgers, beer, and atmosphere. Come hungry, linger a bit, and enjoy the ride—this garage runs smoothly.
Definitely a place we will come back to. Highly recommend!
Sometimes there is a wait, about 30 mins, but usually we go on a weekday and there is no wait. They update their menu on occasion, but the staples are always available. I love the new smaller burger option, as sometimes a heavy lunch is not what I am looking for and have to leave some food uneaten. That wasn’t true on the trip, as an opted for the 1/3 lbs burger v the 1/2 lbs burger and it was perfect. The service was great, and I can’t think of anytime in the past I was very upset or disappointed by the wait staff. That is a sign that it is fun to work there, as a past server, I know how bad management driving you to upsell and turn tables quicker can turn into serves all resenting the job and then taking that treatment from management out on the tables (guests).
Bravo! Keep up the great work and the quality of food, and we’ll keep coming back.
