Looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in Gaithersburg? Have you ever tasted pho made with love? Look no further than Pho Nom Nom Gaithersburg located on 18509 N Frederick Ave. From slow-simmered broths to fresh herbs and rice noodles, each bowl tells a story passed down through generations. The banh mi brings together French and Vietnamese culinary influences in every bite, while grilled dishes and noodles round out a menu rooted in tradition.

Very good food! I had some summer rolls and delicious lemon grass chicken with vermicelli. The restaurant was cleaned and well kept, the service was extremely fast, they also have a robot whom delivers the soup if you order some. They have a little blue light that shocks the occasional flies but i still got bothered by some fruit flies. The flavor was really Vietnamese and authentic.

After reading so many positive reviews, we decided to visit this place. Even while the snow hadn’t fully melted, the restaurant was still open, which we appreciated. Inside, the staff were friendly and attentive, and it was interesting to see a robot helping with food service.
We ordered three dishes. The beef pho was quite good—the beef was nice and well prepared. The crispy rolls were tasty, though I wished the dipping sauce had a bit more flavor. As for the Bun Bo Hue, it was just okay for me; it felt like something was missing, or perhaps my expectations were set a bit high because of the reviews.
That said, I’d still like to come back and try the Hu Tieu to see how it compares.

One of the best tasting pho broths I’ve ever had. All of the food was delicious and came out very quickly. Prices are reasonable.

A friend treated me to lunch here. We both had the Pho and other items – he had the beef noodle soup and I enjoyed the spicy soup but the waiter allowed me to substituted the noodles with regular noodles like in the other soups. What a surprise when the food arrived – delivered by a robot. It helped set the mood – we both chuckled. The place had quite a few other diners and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We will both be back soon.

This is hands down one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to. The food is absolutely authentic, fresh, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality and care in every dish. The pho broth was rich and perfectly balanced, and everything tasted just like home-cooked Vietnamese food.
The atmosphere was warm, clean, and very welcoming. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in their restaurant.
What I love most is the consistency and authenticity. It’s not easy to find Vietnamese food that tastes this genuine. Every time I come here, the experience is amazing.
I highly recommend this place to anyone craving real Vietnamese food. Whether it’s pho, bánh mì, vermicelli bowls, or rice plates, you won’t be disappointed. Definitely a hidden gem, and I will continue to support and come back often!

Wait staff was augmented with two robots, which was good because the restaurant was busy when we visited for a Saturday lunch. Food was ready quickly.
The super large (SL) bowl is enough for two hungry adults.

Nice that there is a vegetarian section on the menu. I had my favorite which was the vermicelli bowl. It took a little longer b/c I figure they had to make the spring rolls fresh w/o meat. Huge number of rolls and fresh ingredients. Great service and they made sure I knew that it was vegetarian.

Pho Nom Nom has been my go-to spot for years. My first bowl of pho ever? Right here, back in 2013 at their Rockville location. Now, with their newer Gaithersburg spot closer to me, I still keep coming back.
Their Pho Nom Nom #1 Special is undefeated—loaded with everything (tái, chín, nạm, gầu, gân, sách), perfect broth, and all the right flavors. I’ve tried plenty of pho spots in the DMV, but this one always wins me over. Great price, excellent service, and consistency that never disappoints.
If you love pho, this is the spot. If you haven’t been yet, fix that.

The food here is always my go-to! My friends and I love to come here and get pho, the banh mih are absolutely delicious as well. Only trouble I have is the portion sizes used to be well oversized and true to price. Now they are slowly making the portions smaller and less protein while also becoming more expensive. I will still be coming here often but it is a shame to see I can order less and less with the same total price. The changes are not extremely dramatic and would be hard to notice for most people. Best pho I’ve had in MD!

It saddens me that establishments are adding fees to orders without an explanation. I did get my $0.10 cents back after requesting it though. I told the person who answered the phone I was providing my own bag and not to charge me $0.10.
I will not be patronizing this establishment anymore due to all the funny fees and poor communication.
The owner / manager responded but only addressed $0.10 not the $0.75 for Togo orders. SMH
