I love this place and I have been coming here for more than 25 yrs, I always love the way the owner treat us, she is in the kitchen, making delicious food. The only thing I would say “complaint” about it is the older lady at the register, she is rude and do not answer the phone when ringing, I had to go into the restaurant and order to go, and she was rude and even almost threw my receipt to sign it and left, the phone kept ringing and ringing, so I guess she doesn’t like to answer the phone. It’s sad she is the host and with bad attitude, but other than that, everyone is super nice and I love the environment, I will still continue coming because of the cook, I love her attitude

It’s okay. From living here I’ve gotten used to large portions when it comes to Chinese food, and I went out expecting to be able to have some food for the rest of the week, but when I saw the serving and presentation I realized that this is more of a dining experience. The portion size was less than expected, but the quality and service were on point. The whole place kind of feels run down, like the business is struggling to modernize, and it has a bunch of signage in broken English that doesn’t reflect well on the management. I think it fits the area economically, and the prices are a little higher than the menu pictures shown. My lunch was like $16 out the door. This restaurant has a dedicated building, but I am going to get Chinese from a strip mall shop for quantity sake. The whole experience felt very 1990s, if not earlier, but I think the operation could benefit greatly by working on the experience. Value: 6/10.

I absolutely love this place. It has the best hot and sour soup as well as the best mapo tofu in town. The experience we had tonight was as great as ever. There was 5 of us in our party. Everyone’s food was so tasty and hot. The dinner portions were shareable. They made half portions for my children that were just the right size. Our drinks were filled constantly and the restaurant was clean. The wait staff was busy, but they teamed up and all took turns taking care of us. They do charge a 15% gratuity for parties of 5 and an 18% gratuity for parties larger than 8. We didn’t mind paying automatic gratuity one bit. The servers deserved well above that. I highly recommend this restaurant. Atmosphere, great service, and quality food make for a great dining experience and this restaurant hits the mark every time.

Awesome restaurant!!! The place is a little old but damn the food was good. It’s actually very clean despite the condition of the building. Vegetarian friendly! The lunch special is where it’s at. You get so much food for a good price. So worth it! The egg rolls are not vegetarian but they are amazing! Really crispy and not lacking filling. Service was quick and server was super nice & friendly. She helped me pick a vegetarian dish. The lunch special comes with your dish, rice, soup, and egg rolls. I ordered the home style tofu and I think my husband ordered the orange chicken.

Great place for families. Very reasonably priced. The lunch specials are a good option.
We had the family share on some Beef Fried rice , Pepper Beef and Szechuan Chicken. Great flavors. Very friendly staff and will give you some great advise on the best plates.
A Must Stop Spot!

I am still on the hunt for a great Chinese restaurant in El Paso and decided to check this place out a few weeks ago. It was actually really disappointing. I ended up ordering the Moo Goo Gai Pan – chicken with fried rice. This came with an order of egg drop soup and egg roll. I liked that they sat me right away and when I ordered my sprite I liked that they gave me a small pitcher so I wouldn’t be without something to drink and they use paper straws.
The egg roll soup was ok and warm at least.
The egg roll was actually really good and I enjoyed eating it.
The fried rice was a disappointment and I didn’t eat it. It didn’t have a good flavor and was bland.
The Moo Goo Gai Pan chicken was also bland and had hot spots and cold spots.
To top everything off, everything came out within 5 minutes of ordering so I didn’t have time to enjoy my soup and egg roll before my entree came out. Over all, I won’t go back and on the search for my favorite Chinese spot continuous.

This is a must visit if you are traveling through it love in El Paso. Best egg drop soup, hands down. Go during lunch hours and get a soup and egg rolls with your meal. Stellar customer service, though it can get busy at times. Everything is great on the menu and they have vegetarian options too.

One of the oldest Chinese restaurants in El Paso, have to order their famous “LiangZhangPi”, which is stir fry of pork, shrimp, eggs, cucumber, and other vegetables, rich while fresh, you’ll like it!

Prior two visits were very disappointing. Poor service the main problem. Last night I’d decide to give it a 3rd chance. Mind you that I’ve been a very steady patron for almost 20 years. Last night was strike 3 for me. No welcome smile, no nice to see you again, no greeting at all. Reluctance to explain the menu as I asked for Orange Shrimp. Server muttered only orange chicken. I said you’ve done it for me before. I ordered hot Jasmine to to warm me up…it came out tepid at best. I ordered egg roll for an appetizer. Cold to the core…yesterday’s batch. Then my beef with snow peas…a huge portion came out with half a bowl of sticky white rice. THEN the main course was cold, too, in spots. The gravy was still gelatinous. I could go on and on but the final assault was my bill of $24.99. I’m serious. Sooooo never again for me. I’m now at Teppanyaki Grill on Lee Trevino and for $13.71 behold the difference in the photo. Hot, fresh, and all you can eat.
