Great dinner at the San Ramon location. We came on a busy Friday night and the food was excellent. Hot tip: parking is easier on the Trader Joe’s side of the lot.
Our server was awesome, really attentive and helpful with explaining the menu even though the place was packed. We had a group of 3 and shared the Fried Calamari, Drunken Noodles with beef, Pineapple Fried Rice, and Yellow Chicken Curry. We could barely finish it all.
The highlights were definitely the Pineapple Fried Rice (it comes in a real pineapple!) and the Yellow Curry. The curry had juicy dark meat chicken and was so good. None of the dishes had spice warnings and were perfectly fine to eat.
Everything was great, nothing bad to say. Highly recommend.

Finally got a chance to go!!
Waiter recommended Tofu Madness since we liked spicy stuff and were eating vegetarian. Just from the look I could tell that this was unlike any other tofu I’ve ever eaten (I’ve had ALOT of Thai food). The tofu resembled paneer and tasted very nice and juicy and you could not tell that it was tofu and not paneer. And this was one of the rare dishes where black pepper didn’t overpower the dish and you could still taste other flavors within. Also got Tofu Drunken Noodle with this and they were very nice as well.
I got and LOVED the Lychee Iced Tea and sipped it every time I felt the tofu spice hitting for the nice cooling effect. Definitely coming back here next time and trying the meat!

The food was pretty good, but could have used some more spice. The ingredients were fresh and the was a good variety of options in the menu. There is plenty of free parking on the shopping center lot in front of the restaurant. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was very noisy and hard to have a conversation. I prefer the Andaman in Walnut Creek, they ask what spice level you want your food and give bigger portions of curry.

I’ve been here plenty of times with coworkers and family, and we generally order the same items.
We came here on a random Tuesday, and we wanted to try a new dish. We opted for the tamarind prawns on the secret menu…. This dish was the best dish I had at this restaurant. It was sweet, tangy and crunchy. The prawns were huge and there’s also some onion rings sprinkled into the dish which adds more. This dish will be my go to every time with a side of white rice.
We also got pad Thai and papaya salad. Both are great dishes and are a comfortable meal.
Service is always great here as well. We got seated outside, and they were really attentive despite having a backed dining room inside.
I love coming here.

Andaman Thai in San Ramon offers typical Thai food—decent, but nothing out of the ordinary. I appreciated that they have outdoor seating, which was a nice option since I had my kid with me and could easily take a walk outside. There’s plenty of open space around the restaurant for an after-meal stroll or a quick stop at Trader Joe’s or Cold Stone Creamery nearby.
The service was quick, and the waitress was friendly, which made for a smooth dining experience. One downside for me was the seating—having a back issue, I found the chairs uncomfortable, which took away a bit from the overall experience. All in all, a solid spot if you’re in the area and craving Thai, but nothing particularly memorable.

Great food, friendly service and nice simple ambiance. Ordered the minced chicken from the ‘secret menu’ at the back of the menu, and ordered our usual Red curry with shrimp. Both delicious. Would highly recommend this place ans other Andaman thai locations too.

This dining establishment boasts an impressive selection of fresh and delectable food. The efficient service and the staff’s remarkable politeness are notable highlights. The staff’s friendly demeanor creates a warm atmosphere, making me a repeat customer. My only suggestion would be for the restaurant to consider expanding its capacity, as it often becomes overly crowded, especially during weekends.

We went here today around lunch time and this place was PACKED. Everybody and their ancestors were here eating and we waited for just 5 minutes for a table to be available. The servers did a good job trying to keep up because they were busy. I had to ask for napkins multiple times, but as I said, they were busy and couldn’t service me right away and probably forgot the first time I asked. The food here is delicious. I had the red curry and salmon rolls. I also had the shrimp rolls and they didn’t disappoint. If the service was better and I received a chocolate mint and toothpick after my meal, I would’ve rated it 5 stars.
