This is the best El Sombrero location easily. Service is friendly, attentive & quick. They have the Good Chips & the Salsa is always consistent, which is always an issue at the other restaurants. I live close to Jefferson & my Brother is located in Oakwood. We both drive out of our way to go to this Location. Keep up the great work! Y’all are appreciated. Muchas gracias!

We had lunch ordered two chicken soups, Spinach salad and fish tacos.
The salsa was really good, had lots of great fresh flavors.
I love Mexican restaurants chicken soups. Unfortunately this one the chicken was a little dry but the broth had good flavor.
The salad was horrible. Delivered without dressing and little to know flavors. I had to add two different salsas and salt to make it edible.
My friend wanted to just eat one taco but apparently they only come in 3’s? I’ve never heard that before. Almost every Mexican restaurant I’ve been to allows you to order À la carte tacos.
So he got three fish tacos and they had little flavor, tasted bland so he ended up not eating any of them.
The service was good, attentive, checked on us several times. The place looked very clean, including the bathrooms.
Just too bad the food was medium, nothing great. Would I go back? Nope. Too many other great options out there.

I’ve been in flowery branch Georgia for a couple weeks and have avoided this restaurant because someone told me it. It wasn’t really good. Never listen to someone. This place is fantastic. Jesus is a fabulous server as well. The chips and salsa were both magical. I also had the steak Street tacos and the steak was so tender in their tortillas are fresh. Please visit this place. Don’t hesitate and ask for Jesus.

We wont ever eat at a El Sombrero again, especially this one!
First I ordered beans with a little cheese drizzled on top and they brought me what looked like queso. So after the server argued with me about it, I asked her if she could bring me just some beans on a plate with cheese drizzled on top. With attitude she took the queso beans back and shortly later brought me out another bowl of beans with literally no cheese.
When we went to talk to the manager, I didn’t get her name, but she was very rude and didn’t want to take the time to hear what we had to say! I ordered sour cream and pico with my beans and let’s just say I had more sour cream and pico than I did beans. Overall my order of beans, no cheese, sour cream and pico costed more than my fiancés meal of half order of chicken fajitas. Crazy!
And lets not forget that when they brought out our food, my 5 year old son decided he wanted chicken so we ordered him a kids chicken and french fries. It took them 30 mins to bring it to us. We never received an apology! I DO NOT recommend eating here. Go somewhere else where at least the manager will be respectful and appreciate your business! I don’t feel like we asked for much! And tbh, the food really wasn’t that good!

Decent food and good location. Friendly staff. I wouldn’t go there regularly but it’s a decent place. I tried their fajita nachos which were good but weren’t the best I’ve tasted. Good thing was they were cheap compared to other restaurants.

Buford El Sombrero has a great menu selection with reasonable prices and large portions. Their service team is very quick, responsive and courteous. The atmosphere is extremely festive and fun. The food was fresh, delicious and hot when it was served.
