Great fried chicken. Okra was good but too salty for me. Fish dinner had 2 big pieces of fish. They need to add a few more tables for the noon rush hour!!!! Extra parking across the street on the north side.

So flavorful, the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The fried okra was so good too (and I’m picky about my fried okra Lol) It does have a kick to it, but our family loves spicy food and this was perfect. Keep doing what you’re doing and don’t change a thing. We will be back.

Wow, that was some of the best fried chicken and okra I’ve ever had.
Although it looks dark, it does not mean over fried or saturated with oil. Crispy with moist tender meat cooked all the way to the bone. Tried a breast, thigh and leg. Breasts usually dry out. Not this one.
For those that are a little spice sensitive, buckle up. Wonderfully seasoned for a subtle Cajun spice on the pallet with a nice warming in the stomach.
Even the crisp breading on the okra had a nice spice.
Too full to try more than a couple of beans in the red beans and rice but, it tasted right.
That’ll be breakfast!

I ordered a 3 piece with fried okra. Well The chicken is overly seasoned and super greasy which made it very hard to eat! The 2 stars is for the fried okra which were very good!

Tried to phone in an order for pickup but calls went unanswered. Chicken is good and spicey but way to spicey for my wife and kid. Tried to order a burger and catfish but was told they only have chicken, by the cashier who was sitting on a milk crate on the floor behind the counter. I guess the menu I found on googlemaps is no longer relevant. I like spicey but their fries were so spicey that it made me sweat. I wish they were better at communicating with customers, it was my first time there and I had to ask too many questions and the cashier seemed nice but I also seemed unbothered by me, as if she is used to only dealing with people who have been here and know how to order. If you like spicey chicken and already know what to order, you will like it.

Ive always loved this place but since they reopened, I’m missing the legendary grease that was seasoned 40yrs ago. Ik they try to hurry cuz the line is really long but quality does matter. My rolls were flattened by the chicken and they coulda kept them. Fried okra was a bit under fried. I’ll try again late
