Small town ice cream shoppe offering 16 flavors of Wisconsin based Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream. One can also find shakes, cold press, coffee, lattes and some bakery items. Ice cream is a smoother, creamery ice cream with a custard like feel. Shoppe is nicely remodeled on the first floor of a ratty, old building with limited seating inside and picnic tables outside. Staff were friendly and efficient as the shoppe filled up quickly. One can never have enough ice cream, especially on these hot, summer days, and you will be supporting a local business.

My family LOVED our 2 scoop ice cream cones!!! The biggest scoops I’ve had. The top one looked like a bowl’s worth alone. Great service, even when coming shortly before closing time. We’ll definitely come back!

I was recently in the Lake Pepin area with my mom and my sisters. We stopped here for a treat on a hot day. My younger sister asked for a sample and was replied to, quickly and rudely, that they do not offer samples. The young man behind the counter clearly did not want to be there. After their exchange, my younger sister and I left. My older sister stayed back and ordered for herself (my mom needs lactose-free, and the flavor that was carried here did not appeal to her, so she didn’t order anything. I am very appreciative of places that do offer the lactose-free option, though). The ice cream offered at this location is one of the best out of Wisconsin, but the customer service that day just didn’t warrant our business.

Dux in Lake City, MN was the perfect little ice cream shop to stop at after a hot afternoon swimming at the nearby Ohuta Beach and splash pad! Their new location is clean, adorably decorated with indoor (air conditioning) and outdoor seating and one unisex bathroom. Many different hand-dipped ice cream treats and wonderful staff that eagerly accommodated my gluten free sensitivity! Bonus-they serve premium Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream—my favorite. We look forward to visiting again! Thank you to the wonderful staff on Saturday, June 21!

We took the family on a small roadtrip to try this ice cream. The ice cream was worth it on a warm day. S’mores, coconut almond, vanilla were great. My youngest did not like Superman. Great flavors cool little area if you like the water.

Great small town ice cream shop! They have a range of flavors to pick from. Our crew enjoyed our selections. They also have shakes and energy teas and such. The new location is a big step up! We sat inside at a table but outside seating was available too. I’m sure we will be back!

Cute little ice cream place with amazing lattes!! They ground the beans right in front of us and the espresso is to die for! Cute little place that is definitely worth stopping at.
