We stopped in Tehachapi to get gas and some sandwiches from Subway on our way home from camping on the coast about a week ago, and ended up leaving our kids stainless steel water bottles on one of the tables there. I called within 20 minutes of realizing we had forgotten them and spoke with Crystal, the manager on duty. She said she would mail them to us, which was more than I had expected. We didn’t want to have to turn around and go back, as we were pulling a trailer and it wouldn’t be that easy. So to have her offer to mail them to us was a nice surprise. She was very pleasant and helpful, as were all the girls working. Not to mention, the sandwiches were tasty as well! We most certainly will be stopping here again, as my kids love Subway sandwiches!

I stopped off to get a sandwich here in Tehachapi. The subway is located inside of the building of the loves truckstop. There’s also a McDonald’s restaurant next-door inside the same building.
I ordered the Italian spicy sub sandwich. It was fresh and tasted really good.
I came in contact with two employees who were behind the counter. They both were very nice and professional.

I went to this restaurant and they used old bread that’s flaky. I ordered a 6″ spicy Italian and they didn’t put hardly any meat on it. With the price of everything nowadays I would like to get a fresh sandwich instead of one that’s crumbling all over the place with old bread. Will never come here again.

Of the 6 employees and manager Dan who was explaining to an associate that ‘for the next 3 hours, he would be filling ice’, in 2 locations. Samantha was left alone to fend for herself while everyone disappeared.
Her service was impeccable, the others, not so much.

This was hands down the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had. The simple request to prepare one and a half sandwiches turned out to be very difficult to fulfill, even though I was assured before ordering that they had vegan options. The staff had absolutely no clue which ingredients contained animal products, so it took 3 of them to piece together our meal.
When the unbelievably slow, unmotivated and unfortunately also very clueless crew finally managed to finish our order, the result was a couple of dry and flavorless sandwiches.
I’d rather close all my businesses before leaving it in the hands of these people. Should have bought more fries at McDonalds. Thanks for nothing!

No idea why the was the best item I’ve ever gotten at a Subway. But the manager Daniel is a hard working guy that made the best Avocado Turkey wrap possible. Ingredients seemed fresher than normal and attention to detail was excellent. I guess that’s why he’s a manager. I’ll make sure to support this location in the future, because I normally don’t even rate a Subway because all have been in the middle. These guys have some extra details not in other locations. Thank you for a healthy and tasty meal.

It’s a normal Subway next to a Gas Station a highway that sees a lot of traffic from people going to Vegas from the Bay Area. They do all the sandwiches that a normal Subway does.

When I stepped up to the counter and told them I had 7 sandwiches to order, she didn’t even bat an eyelash. Employees were kind, quick sandwich artists. She kept the customers behind me informed of the large order and everyone was patient. This was my best Subway experience to date. Please thank your employees that day for making our road trip in the July heat a pleasant one with delicious sandwiches.

Not sure why there are so many 1-star reviews, I was completely satisfied with my time there. Service was more than friendly and the food was great! Much prefer this than the next-door MacDonalds run by kiosks.
