A Night out with family, enjoying good food close to home. Two had the fish and chips, amazing…. Mom likes a bit more relish in her tartar sauce, but…. The steak and shrimp was cooked perfectly and the shepard’s pie was too big to finish. Yum!!! Melody was fantastic- from drinks to meal special recommendations- she will steer you right! A great hometown spot filled with families and friends.

This is the second time we have gotten take out from this restaurant. Luckily, we had a gift card. I do not like wasting money on food. Also, I do not usually leave bad reviews. I ordered a BLT sandwich. I thought it was a safe choice. Nope. The lettuce was shredded, tomatoes so thin they were hardly there, and barely done bacon. Crispy bacon is what makes a BLT and Dukes mayo. I got so disgusted I pulled off all the bacon and ate basically bread. This is just a PSA for anyone else to avoid the BLT here.

Atmosphere: Clean✅ Modern with a slight rustic feel as to be expected. The building offers a well-balanced climate. Plenty of comfortable seating options offered to accommodate any party size!
Compliments to the Chef: The seafood dinner’s you prepared for us were absolutely delicious! The flavors were incredible, and each dish was cooked to perfection. Thank you! Keep up the great work!

The food A++, must try the Seafood Nachos, BEST ever! We had the crab cake sandwich and the fried flounder sandwich, also A++
Melody our waitress was a fine waitress, she was right on top of our needs, very attentive and informative about the menu options and the area there in Franklin! She and all others we encountered there were also very nice and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant. Only thing is I wish they were in Prince George VA about an hour away!

The place is very open spaced. Which could make for a very noisy environment. You can hear everyone’s conversation. We were greeted and seated. The waiter seemed pretty nervous, which is probably understandable since this place just opened. My wife ordered a water and me a coke. My wife couldn’t drink the water because it tasted like soap. So she got a ice tea. The bread came out but they didn’t bring small side dishes for us to put our bread in to eat. The bread was pretty good. The food then came about 20 minutes after ordering. I ordered the Butchers 16 oz. Bone-in Ribie Steak. My wife ordered the Stuffed Flounder. The food presentation was really good. The portions were just right. The steak was was good but really under cooked towards the bone. The steak lacked a good sear and looked more like it was cooked in the oven. The steak was tender and had good seasoning but I just expected more being that it being a steak restaurant. My wife said the stuffed flounder was really good. This place was okay but I have to keep in mind this place just opened and they have some kinks to work out. I will try it again but not go all out and get the most expensive items on the menu.

I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but this place was very disappointing. My husband ordered a soup and grilled cheese sandwich and the cheese was not melted the clam chowder tasted like it was Campbell’s from a can. I had a crab cake sandwich that tasted like it was not cooked all the way the only part that was good were the fries. We also waited an hour for our simple meals. The waitress did give us a discount and apologized for the wait but didn’t ask us about the food as if she already new that we didn’t like it. It’s wasn’t her fault but this was our first time visiting this restaurant and also our last. We won’t be wasting our time or our money again.

Stopped in this place today w/my mom for my birthday lunch. I am originally from this area & let me just say that this is the best place that’s opened in my hometown in a very long time! We had 2 of their lunch special offerings. I got the half rack of ribs & mashed potatoes! Ribs were tender & falling off the bone! The BBQ sauce was sweet & tangy & tasted wonderful! The mashed potatoes were superb, creamy w/a few lumps in there! I had the limoncello cheesecake for dessert..it was delicious! My mom got the fried shrimp & a baked potato & she said it was very good! Highly recommend this place! Please, Franklin, hang on to this one.. don’t run them out of town!!

I didn’t even know this spot was open, but I’m soo thrilled that it is! Franklin needs this restaurant. I tried the bacon cheeseburger, and this is the best burger for miles!! The seafood platter as well as the bbq chicken is amazing!! You have to try these dishes because me explaining them really doesn’t do them justice. The servers are friendly and helpful. I love the authentic southern country atmosphere with the country music playing in the background!! Excellent food and prices are very good for the quality of food you receive.
