Vegetarian Food Review: Tried Kokos for the first time a few months ago and definitely want to come back and try more food. We tried the vegetarian tacos and enchiladas and they were lovely. The chips and salsa is decent. Could be better. The vegetarian options weren’t too many if I recall correctly. The service though was terrible. It was a busy evening but we had to remind the server 3-4 times for everything. Forgot the drink after reminding twice and still charged us. They kept bumping into my chair and were just not attentive as we were not ordering a lot of food unlike other tables. But the food is worth another shot and hoping that the service has improved over time. It was quite noisy but it was a fun vibe. The waiting area definitely needs more help. As the wait can get quite a bit. Also it is challenging to find the place and parking is difficult. So prepare accordingly. I would recommend it for sure.

Hands down one of my top 10 restaurants in the United States.

From the moment you walk into Koko’s Restaurant, you’re greeted with a genuine smile that immediately sets the tone for the night. The service is truly outstanding, warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout the entire experience.

What made the evening even more special was seeing the owners on-site during our visit. They personally came to our table to make sure we were enjoying both the food and the service. I honestly can’t remember the last time an owner did that, and it speaks volumes about the pride and care they put into this place.

The cocktails are fabulous, creative, flavorful, and made with unique ingredients. They’re even presented in a beautifully designed cocktail book, which is such a fun and thoughtful touch. Very well done.

And then there’s the food, absolutely next level. Every bite was bursting with flavor. The corn, the chips, the carne asada, and the ribeye tacos were all standout dishes that had us saying “wow” more than once. But the real showstopper? The homemade churros for dessert. Do. Not. Skip. Them. They are a must.

You know a restaurant is doing something right when it’s packed all the way until closing time. Koko’s is perfect for a date night or a group celebrating a special occasion. It feels vibrant, welcoming, and special without trying too hard.

A huge thank you to the entire team for making this such a memorable night. I can’t wait to return.

Came in today to celebrate my birthday and walked away with my new favorite restaurant in Seattle! Service was excellent and the food was incredible. The effort that was put into designing everything was top tier.

FOOD HIGHLIGHT: The flautas? Get them! The sauce that comes with them is a personalized chefs kiss. We fought over that sauce. The Tacos? HANDmade just like home. Definitely worth every dollar spent here.

Drinks? Delicious and not overpowering or too sweet they were just right. Can’t thank everyone enough for making this th best birthday dinner I’ve had in the last decade!

We enjoyed the ambiance and vibe of this place. It’s not too noisy on a Sunday, when we went, although friends who have been on a Friday and Saturday have said that the volume can be loud.

The service was attentive, without being overbearing, and efficient.

Generally, the food is solid and consistent, but not necessarily scream-from-the-hilltops fantastic. They have a really good selection of cocktails, and what I had – the Borrachito – was really good.

Absolutely blown away by Koko’s! Hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had outside of Mexico. Every dish was packed with authentic flavor, beautifully presented, and tasted incredibly fresh. You can really tell they care about quality and detail.

Not going to lie, this is going to be my new go to place in Seattle. Not only is the majority of the menu gluten free, it is also incredibly delicious and well thought out. The Tamarind Habanero Prawns were a show stopper. Delicate breading, a perfect blend of tangy and sweet with a hint of heat, made this dish out of this world. Their street corn with homemade chips was one of the best versions of street corn ever. Not too salty, with the best balance of creamy and sweet. Definitely enjoyed the micro greens on it as garnish. The plantonitos were another show stopping favorite. Delicately caramelized plantains, creama, and the best damned black beans ever, were heavenly. The contrast of the sweet and savory and brilliant combination of textures left me fully satisfied.
Their mini empanadas were crisp, fluffy, and flavorful. Their drinks were beautifully presented and delicious.
I cannot wait to come back and try other menu items.
This food is a work of art and is such a beautifully crafted fusion of Mexican and Salvadoran.

5 Stars all around. The space is beautiful, the thoughtful details are found everywhere, from the beautifully illustrated cocktail menu to the food and drink presentation. The food was delicious. I ordered the chips and salsa, the chips tasted homemade, the salsa was perfectly spiced, the house margarita times 2 and the steak quesadilla . All was so tasty and service was great! Can’t wait to come back! We didn’t have a reservation but I’d assume you’d want to make one on a weekend
