It’s a cute little building. Great prices! Now let’s get to the food. The potato didn’t really have flavor. I got brisket and bacon crumbles and I couldn’t taste the difference between the 2. It comes with with grilled onions, I really didn’t see too many of those. The cheese wasn’t really melted. I used my own bbq sauce because they give you Hienz bbq packs. I think they should definitely make there own bbq or at least warm some up and pour it on the potato unless requested on the side.
Overall, the staff was nice, the potato is very much a decent size especially for the price. The inside of the potato was fluffed out and it wasn’t under cooked. I may go back and try a more flavorful potato next time. A bbq potato is kind of basic anyway.

Ordered a brisket, baked potato brisket was shredded so fine couldn’t taste if it was brisket or whatever I don’t know what kind of meat it was baked beans were spoiled. I mean really spoiled tasted horrible. Wasted $15 on a meal that was horrible.

I had this place for the first time, and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
The prices are very affordable, the serving size is very generous, and you’ll finish your meal full. They make every order when ordered, and it doesn’t take too long. They have a variety of potatoes, and I honestly can’t wait to have them all.
I highly recommend trying this place out.

I ordered a brisket quesadilla potato. The portion size for the price was great; I would definitely go again and try other options. The wait time was around 5 minutes, drive-through only. The customer service was very friendly. The place could use some signage on the road, as it’s easy to miss tucked behind Williams Chicken.

Got the steak tater.. does this look like steak? no. It didn’t even taste like steak. I threw it away. I came to support this business, but it disappointed me. For the price the toppings should already be put on the potato. The toppings were scarce. Only good thing was the customer service.

I’ve been wanting to try The Tater Shack for the longest and I finally made it. I ordered the shrimp tater for my first visit and it was absolutely delicious. I left no crumbs, lol. I’d rate it a solid 9/10. The only thing I wish was different is that there wasn’t quite enough dressing to pour over my potato, but next time I’ll definitely order extra. The lady at the drive thru window was very friendly. My receipt said her name was Maya. Thank you Maya, I’ll be back!

This place recently opened. They have Great , tasty stuffed potatoes, with a variety of toppings . They are the Most economically priced hot food in the entire area of Dallas County. There’s not a lot of parking spaces, but they have a drive through window service .
They specialize in baked stuffed potatoes and they’re not un- reasonably priced like most every other fast food place in the DFW Metroplex.
I give them 5 stars because of the menu variety , the tasty food toppings and the courteousy and professionalism and timing.

This place is a hidden gem. I was pleasantly surprising. I was impressed. They offer a variety of different potato. I went with brisket. It’s a drive through bbq spot!! The prices were affordable. The young lady had exceptional customer service skills. It’s like ordering a personal pan pizza, it’s a personal sized potato.

I had been waiting a long time for Tater Shack to open, and I was so excited to finally try it. Unfortunately, the food was a big letdown. My potato was small, undercooked, and barely warm. The brisket on top was dry, the cheese wasn’t even melted, and instead of fresh sauce, I was given BBQ sauce packets. For a place I had high hopes for, it really missed the mark. The only bright spot was the customer service — the staff was friendly and welcoming. I truly hope they can work on the food quality because I really wanted to love this place.

Super great! The Chili Cheese potato is the best in my opinion- especially since it’s extra saucy. The Broccoli Cheese is kinda dry, but a good “healthy” option.
