Ordered online- food was ready right on time. Everything was hot. Great burger- my husband liked the chimney sauce, I thought it was a bit too sweet since I didn’t get lettuce tomato onion on my burger to balance it out. Onion rings were perfectly crisp and flavorful. Fries were made better by yummy cheese sauce. The chicken nuggets were also really great- kinda reminded me of sweet and sour fried chicken from Chinese restaurants minus the sauce. And my picky eater kid ate almost all of the 1/2pound of them. We ate in the car since we were in a hurry, but there was some seating inside. It’s a plain and simple kinda space- nothing fancy, but the food is GREAT!

Decided to order takeout here for the first time and let’s just say we will definitely be back. We got the coney dog with no onions, the waffle fries with the garlic and herb seasoning and 6 hot wings. Everything was delicious and fresh, service was fast. Over all spent $21 on fresh food that tasted great, good job!

I think we found THE BEST BURGER! We love to travel and NEVER hit the chain restaurants we can eat at home…it’s all about the hidden gems for us. I think we found it! Took our food across the street to our motorhome to eat and realized this burger was special. Walked back to the restaurant to express our excitement for the food! Found out the cook, Kaleb has been there since day 1…he did amazing! The chimney sauce was next level! Having a gluten free bun option was awesome as well for others in our group! The lemon pepper rub on the wings were amazing too! 10/10 recommend!!!

Went there today for the first time, the gentleman running the register and I’m pretty sure cooked all my food was soo polite and friendly! I ordered a mushroom Swiss double burger with mayo and lettuce I asked for some sorta specific stuff he was soo kind and said it was easy to do no problem. The. I also got the beef tallow waffle fries and onion rings with chipotle ranch. He even asked if I wanted ketchup. While cashing out he suggested a pop from their soda fountain of delicious real cane sugar craft sodas! I love a good cream soda so I was super excited to try. Good didn’t take but 10 mins, pack up quick and handed off with a smile. The food.. 10/10.. everything was delicious hot and crispy not soggy and covered in oil. I’m not saying I’m picky by any means but I know a good burger joint.. this is absolutely a hidden Gem here in Delaware! I will absolutely be recommending these guys and will be back!

A burger lover’s must try for Columbus area smash-burgers. I chose the triple (3/4 lbs) smashburger, no sauce, American cheese and topped with grilled mushrooms ($14.49). What a feast of a burger – excellent grease juiciness, succulent salty American cheese flavor that’s complimented by the textured crisp grilling effect. The Martin bun is nice as well, not too stuffed like the chain restaurants. Every bite was a joy.

I’m here now, first time. Wife and I were enjoying line dancing next door and we accidentally k locked it on the floor. I brought it next door, it’s their closing time.. But the gentleman Kallem was more willing to fix another one for us. He was very welcoming when I picked up food the first time. I love friendly people and Kaleem has won me on the Smash burger. (oh yeah, food is great too. Love the chimney sauce)

Very, very good! Well, the food is actually Excellent day from this historic institution. They have a table and a couple chairs in the lobby and bench seating for waiting. Though they’re not really set up for a dine-in experience, I suggest taking the time to look over the menu and order some of the best American fare, anywhere, to go. And done in their signature way! I see that they hold the banner well, as a historic institution, as they are exceedingly consistent in offering downright delicious food with unique offerings.

Within moments of submitting a request for a quote, I was contacted to do a full needs assessment for our event — which immediately set them apart. They provided chafers, cutlery, and everything was packaged perfectly to keep the food warm, fresh, and crispy. The setup was done with care and precision, and they truly thought of everything.
And the FOOD… WOW!!! The BLT salad, traditional wings, and tempura nuggets were absolutely delicious — and every single sauce was amazing!
I highly recommend Smash Shack whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or planning a large catering event. They truly exceeded our expectations in every way!
