⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️– Amazing Grilled Salmon!
Fireside Grill is honestly one of my favorite places to eat in Georgetown. The last time I went, I tried their grilled salmon with asparagus, and it was incredible. The salmon was perfectly cooked—soft, flavorful, and nicely seasoned—while the asparagus had just the right crunch without being overdone. You can tell they pay attention to the details.
The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you feel comfortable staying a little longer just to enjoy the vibe.
Every visit feels consistent, and I always leave happy with the food and service. If you’re in Georgetown and love good grilled dishes, especially seafood, I definitely recommend Fireside Grill.

Shanaka is the BESTEST. Very nice personable and beautiful young lady. The atmosphere is very fun and comfortable with the TV screen playing good music too. You can listen and sing along if you like. I ordered the crab cakes and they were big and perfectly enough very tasty with plenty crab meat.cold beer and very good cocktails. Come and see you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I had dinner here last night. The food and service was excellent. We had the spicy bbq wings, creamy garlic prawns and spicy pork chops….delicious. It is really nice to get decent service in Guyana and I am happy to see that the owners has brought in experienced hospitality staff. Our server is from Jamaica, he provided excellent service. Let’s get paper towels or a hand dryer in the washroom.

From the start, the service was disappointing. The waitress who served us wasn’t very attentive and generally seemed disinterested in serving us. We had to specifically ask for glasses for our drinks, and when cutlery was provided, it was just placed at the edge of the table. There were also a few items on the menu that we asked for but were told weren’t available, something I’ve also seen mentioned in other reviews.
In terms of the food, my mum and I received our mains together, but my dad’s main and her side of wedges came about 5–10 minutes later. My mum and I had the red snapper fish, which was delicious, as were the wedges, but my dad was disappointed with his chicken burger and chips, hence the overall food score of 3.
When it came to the bill, one of the meals was incorrectly charged at 500 GYD more than it should have been, so we had to ask for it to be corrected. It’s also worth noting that a seemingly compulsory 10% service charge is added to the bill, and VAT is then charged on the total after the service charge has been applied.
While I appreciate they don’t have control over the location, it’s worth mentioning that the restaurant is on a road where cars often speed by and play loud music. It might be less noticeable upstairs, but sitting downstairs, it didn’t create a very nice atmosphere.
Overall, it was quite a disappointing experience. While some of the food was really nice, the service and atmosphere were letdowns and make it somewhere we wouldn’t go back to.

I was very excited to visit based on the advertisement our driver said customers that he took there didn’t like the food but I wanted to try for myself the most enjoyable thing was the sweet potato salad and the Bob Marley drinks, the seating is not accessible to folks with disabilities, my 79 year old mom told the cashier she acted very unconcerned the servers were very nice and friendly. I may try again at a later time.

Food was bountiful in amount but the taste also matters for me which i didn’t enjoy. Ordered an $8000 snapper only to eat a quarter of it. But at least i came and tried it. I had a cold banks beer with a bottle of pineapple and beets juice that was so refreshing and tasty
