i really love this place i really do! the food is great. all the other bartenders/serves are wonderful! Everyone besides the older, long black curly haired lady. She constantly argues with me once i sit in the bar saying i need to be 21 to sit here (i am 23 and we go through this EVERYTIME). tonight she was on the bar after her shift I’m assuming. I handed the other server my id. out of the corner of my eye i see them investigating my id like it’s a crime scene lol. I can hear her trying to convince the server my id is fake. this is when i intervene and name off my bd, address etc. The Old lady has the nerve to ask rudely what im doing out this way because im not from this area?! like i dont see you every 2 weeks when i get my nails done.. and frankly its none of your business!! Management should really step in and consider who they have out on this floor. Sadly tonight will be the last time i dine inn and do to-go’s because of how extremely rude this lady was.

A family favorite. Every time we come out from Jersey, we always have a family dinner here.

Please stop leaving pick up orders on the counter so that anyone can just grab them and leave. This is the second time someone else has taken our order before we got there. Perhaps leaving the food behind the bar until someone actually comes to pay for it would be a more logical solution. Food is usually good but that’s just idiotic on multiple fronts and I likely won’t be back again because of this.

Fantastic classic sports bar.

For me the draw is their King sandwiches … in my opinion a better Pittsburgh-style sandwich than the famous chain that starts with “P.”

I had the incredible misfortune of ordering the steak sandwich. I’m still unsure where the “steak” was hidden. It was no more than lettuce, tomato & mayo sandwich. For the price they should be embarrassed. I shant return & definitely will guide others in any other direction. The owners should be ashamed but obviously are not. FAIL!!!

I just got off work have a sandwich from there. And was coming to meet a few people that I had asked to meet me there. They said they had left the bar and went over to Brenda’s to shoot pool. Apparently I met the owner and his wife in the parking lot and I asked him if Brenda’s was even open he said he wasn’t sure I said I’m trying to find my people they said they were going over to shoot pool when I came out and I went to go see if they went back into foster house he told me did you find your people I said no he says well your people and you aren’t welcome here we don’t want your kind here I left without either one of us causing a scene not sure if this is the actual owner or not but did not want to cause a problem

Everyone knows a sandwich shop that makes a “Primanti Bros” style sandwich and hardly do they all stack up. I am willing to bet you prefer Foster Houses “King” sandwich over Primanti Bros any day. Foster House has a big menu and is tucked away in Belle Vernon. I would say if you’re in the area it is worth it to stop in. Hell, if you’re not from the area its worth the trip.

Cash Only!
I stopped in here after doing some searching for a small local bar.
Food was phenomenal, the King sandwich is incredible and the drink specials are really good. Prices are reasonable overall. Service was great as well.
All in all, I’d come back here (with some cash).

Are you missing middle school cafeteria pizza? We found it !!

We decided to give this place one more try. Last time, the food was just ok. Parking lot was packed. We walked in, no idea if we were to seat ourselves or not, so we finally flagged down a waitress and asked. Seat yourself. A sign would alleviate this…

Very confused by this pizza. Menu says they sell pizza by the slice … $3.50 each??… and also by 1/2 tray, which claims to be 3 slices, and full tray, which claims to be 6 slices. This was a full tray, but is way more than 6? Even the waitress told us she wasn’t sure how the toppings were priced, it seems like an extra $3 per topping on a full tray? We just went with pepperoni. Took a looooong time and then we got this tasteless school cafeteria food with artificial cheese. Very disappointed.

Also, we helped a young man trying to play pool as the pool tables have very odd mechanics, and we had to keep going to the bar to ask more questions about how it works, as the young man’s father was MIA at the bar. AGAIN, some signage to tell you how to add the quarters would be great. Some slots take 2 quarters, others take one. Weird! One table ate his 8 quarters. The bar staff did give us 8 quarters to give to him, but no one volunteered to come to the tables to help, seemingly content with us trying to help him. So we did our good deed for the day and didn’t mind the pizza getting cold, because it was just gross.

It’s also cash only, which is a tiny line of print on the door. They offer an ATM, but again…. signage????

We’re done with them. No idea of the appeal.

Was great but, when went to pay they told us they only accept cash. Would have been great to know at the beginning
