Salsa & tacos were out of this world! Rice could be better, but the tacos made up for that. Their food is truly authentic however. 8/10, would recommend as a taco spot for sure.

This is my first time coming here, and I have already eaten here twice in one day. Earlier, I had guisado de res. The waitress did advise me that it was spicy, but it was delicious. So I came for dinner and had cucharas, and they were delicious. My kids had tacos de lengua and gordita de asada. It’s our new favorite spot. I will definitely recommend it. Everything was fantastic, and the service was great. I will come back hungry for more

I cater for my large groups at work and the food always arrives on time, warm, and they never miss anything.
They transport their food in multiple aluminum trays and then wrap everything in plastic.
Prices are also not exaggerated.
I like catering the following for my groups:
Costilla de puerco en salsa verde
Large tray of ceviche
They have the fluffiest orange rice
Large tray of beans
Large tray of guisado de res.

This is one of my favorite spots for authentic Mexican food. I had to bring my mom and stepdad while they were visiting to witness the greatness of El Balcón. They were amazed at how authentic the food was (even said it was better than anything they’ve had in Texas). Highly recommend this place for real Mexican quesadillas. The guacamole was wonderful with the right level of spice and we especially loved the “pepino preparado” — cucumber with fresh ceviche and shrimp. Outstanding service that keeps us coming back time and time again!

My family and I have been ordering trays of carnitas from here for years at least a few Sundays a month. El Balcon will no longer have our business due to risk of health hazards from their food and poor customer service. We order five steak tacos via Doordash, and the tortillas came with a significant amount of mold on them. My oldest daughter noticed it on her tacos but my youngest daughter and I ate a taco not noticing the mold. We submitted a request to Doordash for a refund and they denied it. We then contacted El Balcon directly and they refused to do anything, their response was “all our tortillas are “fresh” from the tortilleria”. If a Mexican restaurant can’t get a basic and commen steak taco order done correctly and safely it begs to ask what else they are doing right/incorrect. As far as the customer service on this situation.. disappointed. Google reviews won’t let me post pictures but we did take some of the mold on the tortillas and have a receipt for today’s date.
