Tried Café Buenos Aires for Restaurant Week, and it was so good. The menu had great options, and I was torn between the flap steak and the filet mignon. The waiter was super honest and said to go with the flap steak and honestly, best decision ever. It was cooked to medium-rare perfection.
We had one of the later dinner reservations, so the place had a calm, cozy vibe. The waiter and staff were friendly, attentive, and patient with our questions. I asked for dishes to come out as they were ready, and he totally delivered.
Everything we ordered was delicious: the pasta with braised short rib was incredible, the cappuccino was rich and smooth, and the crème brûlée was pure perfection.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere.

Beautiful mid sized bistro with a South American flair right in the heart of Huntington. Nice white tablecloths. Servers were well dressed. The food was excellent, very well seasoned. the potatoes were nice and crisp and the Omelette was very fluffy. A lovely place for lunch or dinner

My wife and I went to Cafe Buenos Aires for our wedding anniversary, and it was one of the best dinners and best restaurant service experiences we’ve ever had. The owner, Hugo, was very nice, kind, and funny — he made us feel at home and treated us like family. The servers were just as kind and attentive. We ordered a bunch of tapas, and to name just a few: the octopus, the paella, and the beef empanada — everything was rich with flavor and beautifully prepared. Each bite felt like a celebration. The ambiance was cozy and charming, perfect for a special night out. We left feeling full, happy, and genuinely cared for. This place is a gem, and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you to Hugo and the whole team for making our anniversary so memorable!!!!! We will be back!

For over $200, I expected quality and portions that made sense for the price. Instead, the food was just… average. Not terrible, but absolutely nothing special. Basic flavors, and nothing memorable enough to justify those prices. This place charges like fine dining but delivers like a regular spot trying to look fancy.
Now here’s what really bothered me. I paid for sangria, didn’t finish it, and asked for a to-go container. The waitress came back and advised the manager refused and said it was because I could get “pulled over.” That explanation felt ridiculous and patronizing. If it’s the law or house policy, say that clearly and professionally — don’t talk to paying customers like they’re clueless. I wasn’t asking for a favor. I was asking about something I already paid for.
So in the end: overpriced food, underwhelming portions, and poor management handling. The server tried, but that doesn’t make up for the overall experience. Definitely not worth the hype, the wait, or the money. I won’t be back.

Amazing!!! From start to finish. Will be coming back. The service was exceptional, the wait staff was on point. The food was amazing. So delicious, every course. Our server ‘Keyana’ was extremely polite and checked on us throughout the meal. She was the best part of the experience. The owner even made sure things were good. I would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back. Keep up the great cooking and pleasant wait staff. 5 stars, all the way!!!

Food really stands out here. The waitress said the Paella is one of the best things on the menu. We thought it was so worth it. Our waitress, Isabel, was friendly and on point all evening. I gave atmosphere 4 stars as this has been a busy neighborhood staple for years, and it kinda shows. Don’t let that stop you tho, experience was so enjoyable.
