Rebeccas Cafe: A Cozy Gem for Delicious Breakfast and Brunch in …
Reviews
I’ve tried every breakfast item on the menu, and each one is delicious. Some of my favorites include the everything omelette, packed with fresh vegetables and meats, served with crispy hash browns and toast. My husband swears by the corned beef hash and eggs, and my son always goes for the chicken fried steak breakfast. Sometimes I grab a bakery item from the display to take home. Everything is made from scratch and absolutely worth it.
The ambience is what keeps me coming back. It’s cozy, familiar, and full of happy families and friendly faces. Most of the clientele know each other, and that sense of community is comforting. When the owner has a moment, she’ll come around to check in, and it’s never just “okay,” it’s always phenomenal.
Rebecca’s Café is more than a breakfast spot. It’s a place that feeds your soul. I highly recommend it. It’s worth the drive, and you’ll leave with a full belly and a smile on your face.
The restaurant had pleasant decor. We were seated in a booth by the owner. She placed a small lamp on the table and asked us if the booth was ok. The lamp was a nice touch. It added ambiance, but was functional for reading the menu.
The menu and pricing in the restaurant were consistent with the website. There are more varieties of Eggs Benedict than we had ever seen before! There were also lots of skillet scrambles to choose from along with traditional plates. It seems their speciality is a swirled rye bread. It was very good.
There is a case with pasties for purchase, which included beignets.
Our server was Reese. She was very friendly and personable and even though the restaurant was packed, she was very attentive. Note: the mugs are clear – which is a clever touch. This allows the server to more easily see if a refill is needed.
The single-stall restroom was spacious, neat and clean and pleasantly decorated. A reflection of the cleanliness and pride the owner takes in her work.
We look forward to visiting again soon! Pictured is the Mexican skillet and the cute restroom.
The service was great, fast and easy.
I had the Mexican Omelette, without olives, which turned out great. The kids and the wife enjoyed their Omelettes, eggs, and pancakes as well. Great food, decent prices, fast service. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area for breakfast.
Would have liked to try their Eggs Benedict or Country Fried Steak and eggs as well, maybe next time.
I had the Rebecca’s panini and was not blown away by it. It was dry with not enough toppings. All I tasted was the zesty mayo because the bread : toppings ratio was just off.
My wife had a simple breakfast with eggs, sausage links, hash browns and an extra side of pancakes. The basics were good and the hash browns were crunchy and perfectly cooked, as were the eggs. The pancakes were a bit on the firm and denser side, I like them lighter and fluffier, but that’s just me.
Overall a good place to stop on our way north, but not necessarily a place to return to unless we are close by.
