We had to show some property in Mountain Home so decided to eat breakfast before heading to the Glade Top Trail. I had a western omelet with all 3 meats/veggies, hash browns and biscuits and gravy (it came with all of it, I didn’t order extras! lol) Hubby ordered biscuits and gravy with hash browns. It was so good!! Waitress was great. Saturday morning, it was full but no wait. We’ll be back for sure!!

Very welcoming, very busy busy but food is delicious! Large servings and if I heard once, I heard a hundred times that you have to come early if you want the meatloaf LOL. I feel a little guilty because my husband got the last serving of their meatloaf LOL he said it was very good. Clean, plays 50s music, Hometown feel, handicap accessible. I would definitely recommend this place and I will go back again if I’m ever in the area.

As soon as we got in and sat down we we’re given our menus and was asked what we wanted to eat before we had a chance to look at the menus. After we had told the waitress what food we wanted and asked to get 3 pancakes and an extra plate to split them between our toddlers we was told that she wasn’t sure if that was allowed our not, but did anyways and charged us an extra $2.99 because we split food between our kids instead of paying for a whole another meal that we knew they wouldn’t have eaten. Never going back again

That white gravy with a dash of salt will take you home if you’re from the south. Perfect light breakfast options for those who will be hiking. Also a great spot to fully take in the community. This is clearly a local favorite which makes it even better.

What a wonderful restaurant. I had to go there the 2 days I was there. Let’s just say everything was perfect. I live 180 miles away and plan on spending the night with my wife so she can have their wonderful pancakes and sausage. The waitress, Joan, I believe, was wonderful.
