Our first time trying Famous Dave’s and it was delicious! The portions are also very generous in size and the meat is delicious and tender. My boyfriend didn’t like the Bloody Mary drink he ordered and they remove it from our bill. I loved their fruit flavored sodas as well. I look forward to another visit, maybe on a different location since this one is way out of our of route, we were spending the 4th of July in the AC area. Great find!

Came in tonight to pick up dinner and a handful of things for tomorrow. While I was waiting Chris offered me a drink so I got a water.
As he fulfilled my order he was kind and courteous and made me feel like my patronage was warmly welcomed and appreciated. He bagged up everything as he explained all that we had to make sure it was right and again made my night feel very worth the trip.
Thank you again Chris! Please treat this employee excellently, he absolutely deserves it.

Usually a great meal… But this time my wife got a chicken sandwich with bacon …they forgot the bacon! I got the Texas brisket which sounds awesome and usually is except the brisket was dry. Maybe the cook was sleepy.

I was on vacation in the USA and they gave me a terrible service in this place. They did not bring me the complete orders and when I told the waiter that I was missing two orders the answer was that the kitchen was closed that we shared the food among all being the waiter’s mistake. I do not recommend them.

My husband and I went on a week night at dinnertime and there was no wait. The hostess was unable to locate the braille menu, but checked with the manager and told me that they had not yet received it since the print menu had been updated. Suggestion for corporate is to be more intentional about coordinating the timing of replacing your regular and accessible menus. Victoria’s service was good, as was the food. We split the jalapeno, cheese, and cracker appetizer, which was a good size for two. I am not a fan of the sweet-spicy pickles, but that’s just me. I would rather they be dill and spicy. Similarly, I prefer old-fashioned unsweetened cornbread, so the sweet corn muffin with my Texas brisket bowl was my least favorite part. Perhaps an unsweetened jalapeno cornbread option? The brisket bowl itself was tasty. My husband enjoyed his two meat combo with brisket and boneless wings in the devil’s spit sauce. He had mashed potatoes and mac and cheese as sides, the latter of which is probably the item most likely to draw me for a return visit, with a wonderful creamy jalapeno bite. While some reviews do indicate some consistency issues, no major complaints with our visit. If you are looking for some sit-down comfort food without having to wait for a table, (and can afford the calories/carbs/sodium), give it a try.

I think it’s safe to say that we had a Paula Dean Experience. My family of 5 came in today for dinner. There were many available seats yet we still were told to wait. When we were shown a table, it was too small. A coincidence was that the minorities and whites were separated. They almost refused to try to seat everyone together. We were finally given a reasonable table after having to ask the waiter. We ordered dinner at 4:44pm and didn’t receive anything until 5:30. We almost had to walk out, the waiters were very rude and held a chip on their shoulder and after today’s experience, we’d rather not attend another “Famous Dave’s” at all. The food, although was excellent, but good food doesn’t compensate mediocre wait times and poor customer service.
