Happened to be in the area and popped in for lunch. We had the Italian beef sandwich’s. It was delicious but could have used a little more salt. Portions were very generous. The giardiniera was fresh but could have been a bit spicier. Overall very good and I’ll be back to try the gyros

A nice little short order grill to pop in to when you have a hankering for quick comfort food. The Beef, although not the best I’ve ever had, was quite tasty. The potatoes, also nothing to write home about, got the job done. I would return and try a gyro if I found myself back in the area.

Vinnie’s provides the feel of an old mom and pop restaurant. Prices are great and the portions are nothing to sneeze at. Every item ordered was quite tasty and served up quickly. Staff was prompt and courteous as well.

Vinnie, your Italian beef needs to be revised. Cheese should be an option, not standard and not something I should have to request to omit. Beefs don’t include onions. The giardiniera has pieces cut too small and the flavor of it is off. There’s some sandwiches out there with an expected flavor that you can’t customize or modify, they’re simple, if you change things then you no longer have a beef you’ve got something else which leads to disappointment.

The beef gets 1 star but your other sandwiches are indeed worth stopping by for. Maybe change the name to Vinnie’s Phillies and Reubens.

First time here and I was impressed. I decided to order the Italian beef nachos. They had lots of delicious sandwiches to choose from that but these interested me. Instead of tortilla chips they use pita. They had it loaded with the Italian beef, peppers, onions, and homemade House nacho cheese. It was a good portion. I could only eat half of them. Their Italian beef here is delicious. The nachos were really good. I can’t wait to try one of the sandwiches. The next time I stop by.

I had to check out Vinnie’s, as it’s the only Italian beef in town and I moved here from Chicago.

The Italian beef just didn’t scratch the itch for me. So many things are just different than what I expect. I wasn’t a fan of the olives in the giardiniera, the beef was shredded instead of sliced, the “au jus” was bland and lacking in herbs and spices, it came with cheese and onions.

The hot dog is not even close to a Chicago style dog.

The gyro was really good though!

I ordered an Italian Beef and gyro. I asked for my beef bread to be extra dipped it wasn’t. I was hoping for a Chicago’s taste or better of this sandwich.. I’m slightly disappointed but it was edible. It’s missing something but everyone’s taste buds are different.

My gyro which I ate later…hardly had any meat in it. More sauce than meat. I would have used my $5 tip to pay to add more meat. Im slightly disappointed in their quality of food for the price. My gyro did taste better than the half dry beef.

Great little neighborhood sandwich shop! Owners run it and they’re delightful. Italian beef was really good, especially dipped like in Chicago. Get a piece of the pinwheel baklava, delish! Will be back!
