Me and my family absolutely LOVE this Elmeson located on Thompson rd. We have been coming here since they opened! They’re seriously amazing! Everything is always so fresh and delicious. We never have a problem, the food comes out so fast and the service is great! The margaritas are always a MUST ! lol I highly recommend coming to this location and once you do you’ll understand why we don’t go no where else for some delicious Mexican food! My faaaavorite is the fajita nachos !!!

We had the Chile Rellenos lunch special. FANTASTIC! Our server, Maciel, was welcoming and fun to chat with. Service was prompt and professional. The Relleno came with a heaping plate of sides and a TACO! Very happy and look forward to dining here again!

We love El Mason! We’ve been regulars here since 2018. We’ve watched this place evolve in atmosphere and menu. They’ve recently focused on the delivery of their menu items and sometimes I feel as if I’m eating or sipping art. The food has never disappointed. The staff have become as familiar as neighbors. This place really is a tucked treasure to our BG community and very much loved by us. May they continue to grow, evolve, and stick around for many years, with the support of this community!

Ordered Luigie’s taco meal. And to say it’s fantastic is a bit of an understatement. The meat was grilled perfectly, with a nice char. The flavor, salsa and texture was awesome. I’ll look forward to coming back. Our server, Teles, was cool too. Made our experience exceptional.

I came here upon a recommendation from a friend (Hi, Steve!). After having tried “Indy’s best voted Mexican restaurant”, Lindo, I’m confused as to how El Meson didn’t accomplish top honors. Coming from NYC myself and indulging in Mexican-Harlems finest food, El Meson has the most delicious food that reminds me of Spanish Harlem. The customer service is top notch and the food is the best Mexican food I’ve had in Indy (my tacos had so much flavor; the birria is good as well). And of course you can’t forget about the margaritas! Try the flight and you won’t regret it. El Meson deserves all the respect it deserves and has the quality food & service to back it up. Definitely will continue to come here.
