We stopped in on Sunday as we were heading out of town— WOW! We are still talking about the food! I’m pretty sure the veggie omelette I had is the best I’ve ever tasted. Still trying to figure out how the cheese was so light and creamy. The two burgers ordered were proclaimed “the best in memory” also. The chef amongst us said he hasn’t had a burger so perfectly cooked in a decade.
Bonus: Even at a very busy time, our waitress was so friendly and warm. Delightful.
We will be back the next time we visit Chariton!

We just ate breakfast there! Wonderful food! Tiffany, the cook, did over easy eggs perfect, pancakes light/fluffy perfectly brown! Hats off to her!! Mary was great waitress, attentive, happy, pleasant! Everyone friendly! Thanks for being our blessing for today!!

We went in 30 minutes before closing time and was welcomed in not rushed. We ordered dine in food and 2 more orders to go ,so 4 orders total. This place was HOME COOKING. I LEFT STUFFED, with leftovers. Had the western omelet YUMMM. took biscuits and gravy and hashbrowns. Also YUMMY. waitress was awesome! If ever in town again

Our waitress was nice enough, but definitely seemed to be thinking of something else… Food was good, but not great. Burned hash browns took away from a pretty good denver omelet. My thanks to grandma, but will pass next trip thru.

My table is done eating and I have no food. Just a water for 45 minutes.
Have been back since. Time to wait is long but the food has gotten much better. Patience is a virtue!

One of the waitresses kept giving people dirty looks and had a bad attitude that she wasn’t keeping to herself. It made my 1st experience here kind of suck.

Great food, good service and a wonderful waitress.
Clean bathrooms, not sticky tables, fast service even with a full restaurant.
One thing, if you are “larger” the booths do not fit well. Wait for a table.
I recommend calling before heading over, just to see if they are open.

I have eaten here before and had a good experience but the last time I went I had a rude waitress. Took them a while to even bring us a menu and when they did they didn’t take our drinks
